The team knew they had to work fast or all of Ninjago was in danger. They needed to ensure that they lost no one else or that they would have even less of a chance than they do now.

With their team severely lacking, they knew they should start looking elsewhere for help. PIXAL suggested that they meet Cyrus Borg to see if he had any suggestions for what to do next.

As they arrived at Borg Tower, they all showed their badges and headed to the 14th floor, where his office was. PIXAL knew the code to his office, and they all piled in. PIXAL leads the line, with Kai at the end of it.

"My friends! How are you?" shouted Cyrus Borg as they walked in, "PIXAL notified me of your predicament only a bit. Could you provide more information for me?"

The team was quiet, unable to explain the circumstances that led up to their problem because, to be honest, they did not process it either. Nya began to talk first.

"We've lost our friends. They're no longer on our site. We need your help to get them back."

They all began to explain the story piece by piece.

"So what exactly do you need from me then?" asked Cyrus, confused but still polite.

"We need help locating our friends, and we need a cure," said Kai.

"I can do some searching, but I cannot guarantee anything. I do technology, not curses," said Borg.

"Thank you, and about technology, we could use a few new gadgets," said Nya.

"Now that I can do it, give me a day or two," said Borg.

The team thanked him and were on their way.

Meanwhile, Lloyd and Sadie were on to their next moves.

Sadie still had to keep Lloyd in a contained area because he was still in a phase where he would go in and out of his evil state. One minute he would be on her side and the next he would be trying to fight her again. She decided since he was turning, it was not worth it to keep him under the trace because it would be completed soon enough. She was not quite sure what was up with him though; she did not do this to him. She thought maybe he was just coming around.

She thought the vines were her power, but seeing them come from him as well made her question everything about herself.

Lloyd looked up from where he sat. "What is wrong with me?"

Sadie turned over to talk to him.

He gasped in pain, holding his arms as the vines shot further and further through his body.

"This happened to me once. I thought I was unique, but it turns out everything I have comes from some virus. "I don't know what, but it turns out what I had was not special," she said, showing an ounce of emotion.

"You think I want this?" he said.

"No, but it's convenient timing for me because you'll want to help me now, so I guess it works out," she said.

"How did this happen? What did you do?" said Lloyd.

"I told you I did not do anything." "I did not even know this was possible," she said.

"Well I know you're not going to help me until you have this outlandish plan of yours finished, but when you've finally got what you wanted, can you at least get rid of whatever this is?" He said this very vunerably.

"I have no idea how to fix this, I told you that," she said.

Just before they could finish the conversation, he began to wince in pain again. Before they both knew it, she was able to let him out of the cage.
