Lloyd opened his eyes to find himself in a cage made of vines.Typical. He had no idea why he was no longer under her control because the last thing he remembered was the whole ordeal in the woods. He had no idea what had happened between then and now. He had hoped he had hurt no one.

He looked around and discovered himself in a large greenhouse. It was completely covered in plants, but it was extremely cold and dreary. Large vines encased the walls, while small flowers sprouted from floor cracks. This location looked as though it had not been occupied in an extremely long time. The sage that encapsulated him had spots of vengestone thrown throughout. Well, he couldn't say she wasn't prepared...

Sadie walked over to him, with Zane, Cole, and a large dog behind her.

"Why am I conscious?" he asked.

"Lloyd," she said. It sounded like she was once again trying to ration with him.

"Don't call me that." He responded harshly.

She sighed. "Look, Llo- look, has there ever been a part of you that has yearned for more?" She asked.

"No actually, I am quite content where I am," he responded. After he spoke he turned his back on her. The vines that formed the cage shifted him back facing her as she fidgeted her hands in a certain way.

"I hate these." He said.

We can work together. You're so much more than this team you have." She said as she gestured towards his two friends behind her. Her tone was almost endearing; he could tell she did not want to hurt him, but in the end, he was just another ploy in her plan.

He still could not get a grasp on what her thoughts were, but he doesn't think she knows either. He knew she would not reveal her true plan. He could tell there was something more; she was hiding something. As much as he hated to admit it, he knew her well, and deep down, he cared. He needed to keep this hidden, though, because he was aware of how easily it could be used against him.

"Look if this is all about what happened in your childhood we can figure this out without taking over anywhere," he scoffed.

She stopped. "You don't know me, Lloyd." She then proceeded to explain her childhood to him in the way she recalled it.

Sadie's parents treated her poorly. Leaving her to spend a lot of time with Lloyd and his family when they were young. They would play games and have dinner as a family. They were the only family she had. She depended on them to give her a safe place to escape to when things in her house were not always the best.

Once, Garmadon became evil, though, Misako became worried for Sadie in the presence of their family. Lloyd and Misako moved quickly without informing her or her family. She showed up like normal, but no one was there. She was never told why, forcing her to grow up all the time in her own house, alone.

Sadie spent most of her time growing up alone in her family's greenhouse. This is where she discovered she had powers. She was able to control the flowers and vines. She grew many different flowers from the palm of her hands and could have vines sprout from anywhere. She had a kindred connection with the plants; if she was kind to them, they were kind in return.

She was able to learn from books what many plants were capable of and how easy it could be for her to become in charge. Plants, like her, were so forgotten that no one realized how dangerous they could be simply because they didn't appear threatening.

Eventually, she had to leave home. She was angry at the world and sought revenge in whatever way she could. With her in charge, she would never feel this sense of not belonging. She knew what she had to do because it was others' turn to feel the way she did.
