Episode 10: We're All Mad Here, Part 1
Robin is battling Cheshire on Jump City Bridge when a flash of light appears and the pair's minds switch bodies, with Robin in Cheshire's body and Cheshire in Robin's.
Immediately, Robin finds Speedy and Kid Flash. Before he can explain what happened, the pair start beating him up. After a few minutes, the two stop for long enough so that he can explain what happened. Not fully believing him, they tie him up.
Meanwhile, Cheshire decides to find Artemis and Sportsmaster, who turns out to be her father, and tell them what happened. Immediately believing her, Sportsmaster uses her to her more information on Robin and finds out his identity. He decides to use this to his advantage and goes after Kitten.
Robin now gets a flash of Cheshire's memories and sees that Sportsmaster is hers and Artemis' father. He also sees how he trained them with the League of Assassins from a young age, and Artemis hasn't had as much training as Cheshire. Feeling sympathy for the sisters, Robin convinced Speedy and Kid Flash to release him as they try to discover who switched his and Cheshire's bodies.
They look into Sportsmaster's known associates, but bring up no leads. Then they look into H.I.V.E. and find the criminal Doctor Light, who is known to use light bending powers to his advantage. They also discover H.I.V.E.'s experimental tech; which is used to switch bodies.
They track down Doctor Light and force him to use the tech to switch his and Cheshire's bodies back, but it fails and the trios' bodies are switched.Episode 11: We're All Mad Here, Part 2
After the trips' bodies are switched, Robin and Cheshire find themselves back in their own bodies, whilst Speedy and Kid Flash are swapped.
Robin finds himself with Artemis and Sportsmaster and they immediately notice the change and lock Robin away.
Meanwhile, Cheshire attacks Speedy and Kid Flash as they're distracted by having their bodies switched. She defeats them and captures Doctor Light too. Having them all tied up, Cheshire questions them and Speedy and Kid Flash tell her what Robin discovered about her whilst in her body. She hesitates before Speedy tries flirting with her again. Whilst she's distracted, Kid Flash manages to get ahold of an arrow and uses it to knock out Cheshire, gaining the upper hand. They order her to take them to Sportsmaster's base, which she does.
When they arrive, Doctor Light and Cheshire are tied up outside and Speedy and Kid Flash free Robin. After doing so, the trio take the mind-swapping device and swap back and go to take on Sportsmaster, but he and Artemis have escaped, leaving Doctor Light to be arrested as Cheshire also escaped.Episode 12: Towards the Light
Whilst on patrol, Robin sees a girl on the edge of a building. He goes to her and talks to her, and lets her vent about her home life and how her Mother is an alcoholic and how her Dad is neglectful. Wanting to help her, Robin books her a therapist appointment. She thanks him and all seems well since.
A few weeks later, a robbery occurs and she's involved in it. After preventing the crime, Robin talks to her again. She tells him that the therapist appointments worked, until her Mother found out and cancelled them. After that she was stuck at home, until she was abducted by a gang and made to work for them, considering she was smaller and could reach tighter spots.
Robin helps her again, this time calling his adopted Father and requesting he lend him some money to spend on an apartment and school for her. Again, she thanks him but also requests that he stay in touch. She tells him her name is Layla.
Another few weeks pass and Robin's been visiting her, until one day she's nowhere to be found in the apartment. After searching around for clues, he comes to the conclusion that she's been kidnapped. He accesses the Batcomputer and finds her parents address, where he finds his Mother kidnapped her. He heads in to save her, but is met with a serious hostage situation. He tries reasoning with her Mother but that fails and he uses a remote birdarang to disarm her and knock her out. After asking where her Father was, Layla reveals that he left soon after her Mother cancelled her therapy appointments. After talking with her again and getting her back on her feet and getting her more therapy appointments, Robin continues his visits until, once again, he can't find her. He does, however, find a note addressed to him.
'Robin,
Thank you for everything you've done for me. It really means the world. Out of everyone I've met, you're the only one to ever take notice of me. The only one who cared.
You tried your best and I appreciate you for it. But some wounds are cut so feel they aren't visible. They're forgotten. And sometimes, people can't be saved, as much as you try.
Thank you, for everything.'
After a few tears drop on the note as Robin speeds up to the roof as fast as he can, but he's too late. Police cars and ambulances are already down there. He sits on the edge and looks at the dawn rising, as he vows to never let anyone else die on his watch again.
