Season 2

Episode 1: Performance
After he recovers, Robin begins his hero career again. He begins by hunting down some drug dealers, and he hones in on a warehouse full of heroin.
Going in, he didn't expect it to be a trap by Anarky. The whole place was rigged to blow with Robin in it and it worked. Robin's body isn't found, though Speedy and Kid Flash try looking for him. After a week, they have to break the news to Batman and then Kitten that Robin's dead. Obviously, both are distraught and Batman even comes to Jump City to search himself.
A few weeks pass and Kid Flash and Speedy are keeping order until a series of robberies occur which draws their attention, all marked with a red X at the scene. Speedy and Kid Flash brought this evidence to Batman but he said it didn't match anyone he knew so they came to the conclusion that someone new was doing this and they were good.
As the days go by, the robberies amp up until the mysterious criminal is caught by Speedy. The two fight and the criminal reveals his name; Red X. Speedy loses and Red X gets away with the item.
Red X is gathering items he's robbed to create the ultimate trap for someone. We don't know who, but we know what he's doing.
After Speedy reports back, Batman quickly discovers Red X's safe house and allows Kid Flash and Speedy to go.
Although they tried sneaking in, Red X catches them and locks them up. When he's gloating, he accidentally lets slip that he killed Robin. Angry, Speedy tells him that that's impossible and that Robin was killed by Anarky. But Red X says that he meant mentally and then reveals that he is Dick Grayson. He explains that after he was beaten half to death by Sportsmaster twice and then blown up, Dick began to think of himself as weak and not a good enough protector for Jump City. Unknowingly and unwittingly, Dick created an alternative personality; a persona that was willing to do what it took to take villains of the streets completely and kill them.
Red X was preparing the trap for Anarky, who he'd lure there. But now they knew who Red X was, Kid Flash knew he had to call Kitten, and so he did.
As she entered the warehouse, Red X hesitated slightly before taunting her.
As she reached his position, she began to try to get Robin out and talk to him directly.
Then we see an internal fight between Robin and Red X, as they both battle for control. Eventually, Robin wins and he throws down the Red X mask and sets his friends free.
After a few weeks of recovery, Robin is healthy and back in action!

Episode 2: Tips and Trix
Killer Moth returns and this time he isn't here to fight Robin, more ask him for help. He's aware that Dick Grayson is dating his daughter and he wants to get her a gift, but he has no money so he can't. He asks Robin to get him a gift, maybe some jewellery or something. Reluctantly, he goes out and purchases a necklace for Kitten. But suddenly, it's stolen. Dick chases after the thief but sees that it's Trix. After lecturing her on the promise she made, she tells Robin that the necklace is a source of magical power for a greater threat and it needs to be destroyed. She tells Robin; 'Who do you think the Church of Blood work for?' to which his response is confusion, as usually no-one calls H.I.V.E. by its media-given name. She says that the necklace will be used in a ceremony to bring forth the apocalypse and so she needs to destroy it. Reluctantly, he buys a new one and helps Trix infiltrate the facility and prevent the ceremony, simultaneously stopping the Church of Blood's plans for the area.
He gives Killer Moth the jewellery and he then gave it to Kitten. Killer Moth thanks Robin but also escapes.

Episode 3: Valentines Day
Now back at school, Valentine's Day approaches and Dick still hasn't gotten Kitten anything. Struggling to keep everything together, he turns to his English professor for help. He tells Dick to focus on what he's grateful for in life to see what what he truly needs. Slightly annoyed at the stupid advice, Dick leaves with a bad taste in his mouth.
Until he wakes up the next morning and nothing seems amiss and everything is perfect. He's in a jolly mood and completely forgets about all his woes— and the fact that he needs to get Kitten a Valentines Day present.
At the end of that day, he completely forgets Kitten exists and goes to patrolling, which angers her. After a few angry texts, Robin sees her texts and decides they need to meet up and make up.
They go on with their meet up but Dick won't stop talking about how amazing and great and flawless life is, whilst Kitten tries to talk about their issues. Eventually, she gets up and leaves, which leads to Dick going home sad for the first time the whole day.
He goes to school the next day and asks his English professor what he did, and he simply says he made him more carefree. It turns out that the English professor is the criminal Mad Mod, and altered Dick'd brain chemistry so he was distracted. Why did he do this? He was bored. Obviously, he forces Mod to undo the spell and return him to normal, but the damage is already done and Dick's and Kitten's relationship is on the rocks.
