Episode 10: Kittens and Claws
A new terrorist organisation has cropped up in Jump City and Robin and the Titans are struggling to keep their control. Dick's been spending less and less time with Kitten and it shows, as they're growing more and more distant. Wanting to bridge the gap between them, Dick takes her out for dinner whilst the Titans deal with the terrorists. The Titans are defeated, however, and they have to summon Robin from his fate, much to the dismay of Kitten. Robin goes out and fights the leader of the terrorists, the Red Claw. She beats him in a fight and he has to flee. His teammates chew him out for being so distracted but he defends himself by saying that they should've done better. Robin leaves them and tracks down Red Claw himself. He brutally beats her as if he's in a trance, until he snaps out of it, cuffs her and runs away.Episode 11: X, Part 1
After he almost kills Red Claw, Robin retreats to his apartment where he thinks on what just happened. He comes to the conclusion that the personality he unintentionally created wasn't completely eliminated. After discovering this, Dick attempts to get rid of the personality once and for all and fails. Red X takes over and ruins Dick Grayson's life, breaking up with Kitten and making the terms he was on with the Titans worse than they already were.
Donning the Red X outfit once more, he goes on a rampage, putting petty criminals in intensive care. It all comes to ahead when Red X stops a bank robbery and he strangles and kills one of them.Episode 12: X, Part Two
After evading police capture, Red X returns to his apartment and is distraught, throwing off his mask.
After seeing Red X on the news, Kitten and the Teen Titans decide he needs to be taken down.
They go to his apartment and see him weeping on his couch. Kitten goes to comfort him but he swats her away and curls into a ball. He's clearly unstable.
Not knowing what to do, they all decide that Raven has to enter his mind to remove the personality manually. Although she warns that it's incredibly dangerous, she enters anyway and goes through his memories, eventually coming face to face with Red X. She attempts to kill him straight up but fails as Red X has full control. She realises that she can only weaken Red X but a Robin has to end him, and so she reawakens Dick Grayson and together they defeat Red X.
They have to inform him that he killed someone but assure him he wasn't in control at all— which only kind of seems to put him at ease. Kitten then tells him something that he needs to know; she's leaving Jump City.
