Episode 4: Don't Try Suicide
Numerous villains are appearing in Jump City at once, spurring Nightwing to investigate and he uncovers the secret Task Force X (using his previous government connections he gained in his work for Spyral). He goes to Belle Reve to confront Amanda Waller about how inhumane this is but she doesn't care and simply has him arrested. He escapes and fights his way out, eventually facing off against the Suicide Squad (Killer Croc, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Rainbow Raider, Plastique, Killer Frost, Captain Boomerang). He tries to talk them down but they can't listen. He knows he can't beat them head on so uses them against each other. He escapes Belle Reve and returns to Jump City, armed with blackmail for Amanda Waller.
Episode 5: H.I.V.E. of Scum and Villainy
Nightwing and Pink X locate a H.I.V.E. facility and infiltrate it, only to learn it's a trap set by Brother Blood. They learn that in Nightwing's absence, Brother Blood has been allowed to gain immense power in Jump City and H.I.V.E. Nightwing tries to convince the H.I.V.E. Five to rebel but they don't listen and attack Nightwing. He defeats them with the help of Pink X and attempt an escape, only to be stopped by Brother Blood. Jinx of the H.I.V.E. Five, however, betrays him and allows the duo time to escape.
Episode 6: Defaced
Nightwing gets a surprise visit form Shawn Tsang, who chews him out for not telling her he's actually alive. He admits his mistake and promises to make it up to her. She tells him that she needs his help with some kids who are trying to be vigilantes but not very well. She needs his help talking them down from doing anything dangerous. They both try to dissuade them but it doesn't work and they continue. It comes to ahead when they try to beat up some drug dealers but get themselves capture and Nightwing and Defacer have to save them. At the end of the episode, Dick and Shawn almost share another kiss but Shawn says that they're both too different and it wouldn't work.
