When I opened the door to my apartment I was a little bit nervous.
This would be the first time Ethan and Aiden would stay over.
Mom wanted to stay the night but I told her that I told Ethan and Aiden about the babies. Her first reaction was to beat them senseless if they denied the babies. When I told her that they were both on board with being father she offered to make her grandmothers famous cheese cake recipe.
"Wow this place is nice!" Ethan said
"Thanks. Jake picked it out and he refused to have me live anywhere else. This place is close to the hospital so that's good and I picked out a room where I want the babies to stay" I said
"Is there another Unit available?" Aiden asked
"Why?" I asked
"Listen you may be having our babies but I'm not going to be an asshole and demand to live here with you. That should be your choice. If you think it's too soon for all of us to be living together, then in the mean time I want to be close by. I want to be able to there for you." Aiden said
I cried. I'm not sure why i cried but I did.
"Oh my god are you okay?" Ethan asked
I knew i was an ugly crier. I tried to hide my face from both of them but one of them pulled me into their arms and the other was rubbing my back.
"Love, what happened talk to us" Ethan asked
Aiden gave me a tissue and as blew my nose. the sound was gross and when I looked at him he looked at me as if I didn't just hand him a napkin full for snot.
"It's Just.....I was so scared that I would be a single parent, or worse, I would die and my babies would be separated. But you two are like, you're both okay with this. Like if I end up dying I know you two will raise the babies together" I smiled
"Don't say that. you're not going to die" Aiden growled
"Even if these kids weren't our babies, we would still have stepped up and be dad's to these babies" Ethan said
"exactly. we're not going to let anything happen to you or these babies." Aiden said
"Might as well call us Daddies" Ethan said
"Stop! you did not just say that!" I laughed
the three of us laughed and I ended in on the sofa with of them hugging and cuddling me.
I'm not sure how much time had passed but the wonderful silence was broken by Aiden
"Can I tell my dad that he's going to be a grandpa" he asked
"yeah. I told my mom and brother. Just let him know that there's a chance....that you know" I said because I didn't want to say anything else about be dying or possibly losing the babies.
"You won't lose the babies. I just know it. And you'll be healthy too. you get to see them grow and the 5 of us will get to do so much stuff together" Ethan said
"yeah we can take them to the zoo when they're able to go and just think about seeing them in those baby swings at the park" Aiden said
"You two are really confident......I like that" I said
"Confidence and faith is the only thing we need to beat this. yeah the doctors will do there thing but we got this. just think, this time next year we'll be celebrating the holidays with out babies" Ethan said
