Chapter 12

"Kaichaa!" Luca squealed, his little legs rushing towards her in full speed before he clung to her leg, making her laugh (AN: he can't pronounce Kaiya-chan so he says Kaichaa :3)

"Hello Luca! I've come to pick you up again!" She laughed, bending down to lift him on her hip, hugging him. She wasn't going to lie, she had become a little attached to him during the week, even getting to know his teacher and some other mothers at the nursery.

"Good afternoon Agito-san, Luca has been talking about you all day today!" His teacher chuckled, handing Kaiya his tiny lunchbox. Kaiya smiled, giving the kid a sweet kiss to his cheek

"It's been a lovely week with Luca so far. He's so well behaved and quite the chatterbox, no?" She asked the teacher who grinned, ruffling Luca's hair

"Mhm, I'm glad Adriah-san's finally met a nice woman. A lot of the single mother's here have their eye on them..." She whispered but Kaiya laughed, shaking her head

"That's so kind of you but, I'm just Adriah-san's acquaintance. My partner and him are on the same team! The tournaments coming up and they're quite busy with training, so I offered to help Luca's father this week. Right, Luca?" She asked the toddler who eagerly nodded, not really understanding what the adults were discussing. The teacher beamed at this news, a hand to her face

"Oh my, who are you seeing? If you don't mind me asking... Is it the captain, Meian Shugo?" She asked eagerly, looking a little relieved and Kaiya smiled,

"Sakusa Kiyoomi... He's the Outside Hitter for the Jackals..." She said and the teacher's jaw dropped, fanning herself

"Lucky you! He's so mysterious and dare I say, attractive... I know this may be a little forward of me but I'd love an autograph..."

Kaiya just rubbed the back of her neck, nodding

"Sure... I'll see what I can do... Anyways, we should be going... Luca will see you on Monday then. Say bye to Sensei" Kaiya told Luca softly and he waved at her before they began walking away. She had a smile on her face, listening to his nonsensical babbling but it made her feel relaxed, knowing how comfortable he was with her.

"What do you wanna eat then?" She asked Luca who didn't wait a second

"Cake!" He answered and she giggled,

"Sorry buddy, I don't think your parents will be happy if I fed you cake for lunch. How about pasta?" She asked and he nodded... They walked in a calm silence, her arms were feeling a little heavy, carrying him on her hip, wondering if Luca's mother carried him like this on the regular...

"Are you excited for this weekend? You're staying at Kaichan's house! I've planned so many fun things for us and Chewy's really excited to meet you. Do you know who Chewy is?" She asked and he shook his head, making her grin

"Well, that's a surprise then" She laughed to herself, before walking into a small café where she seated Luca in the booth next to her while he kept himself busy colouring on the kid's menu. She pulled out her cellphone, checking her notifications only to frown when she saw none, it wasn't until she checked the secret blog she frequented when she noticed a friend request, puzzling her... She had no followers but if she accepted, then one could see her blogs dashboard filled with things she had liked from other boards... Tapping the screen, her cheeks flushed reading the username

And right on time, her phone began buzzing, looking at his name, she answered the phone
