Night's point of view
"You're Aqua's brother! Wow, small world huh?" Said the Jolteon with excitement "That's amazing!"
I shrugged in my trademarked nonchalant style "I guess."
The trainers had been gone for about ten minutes and all the Pokémon that I had met thus far on my one day journey were all congregated in Desmond's room, a room that looked a lot like the room that Jack had. (I started to doubt this human ingenuity thing, all they do is copy the same damn room over and over again.)
"You guess?" questioned my sister who had been named Aqua by Desmond "I'm happy to see you haven't changed Umbreon."
"This is really crazy." Sounded Razor before looking at me "What are the odds that you and your sister would get caught by different trainers that just happen to be friends that were going to travel together."
Spark crossed his arms "Pretty small I'd say." He took a step toward my Vaporeon kin "I think we should get acquainted. I'm Spark, your brother's teammate."
"Razor." Announced the Bulbasaur with a wide smile on his large head "Nice to meet you." He playfully nudged Ruby "If she gives me any trouble I might be able to go to you for help."
The Vulpix responded with a harder nudged that almost knocked Razor off his feet "I'm Ruby." Said the fox reluctantly.
Aqua nodded "It's… it's nice to meet all of you."
"It should be. "Said Ion as he turned Aqua "You still a little excited from beating the gym leader by yourself?"
Now I may not have told said this before, but my sister is the timid type. She's quiet and sweet like an Oran berry and someone would not expect a berry to stomp on a gym by her lonesome. Part of me didn't like the idea of her going up against Pokémon by herself but it seemed she may have grown out of her self-deprecating habits of the past.
"Whoa w-wait," Stammered Razor as he rose a paw "you beat the gym leader all by yourself?'
Aqua's fundamental meekness kicked in as she looked to the ground "Y-yeah I guess…"
"You guess? You're being too humble." Declared Ion before he looked at the rest of us "I didn't even get a chance to do anything. Desmond sent her out first and she completely dominated that gym." He looked at her in the eyes "I was really impressed."
The Vaporeon's cheeks went rosy as she uneasily put her paws together and looked down and to the side in a desperate attempt to avoid the attention she was getting. "Thanks. But I am a water type…"
"It's still really great though." I said with a smile as I put a paw out and touched her shoulder "I'm really proud of you."
When I made contact with her she flinched a little but then looked up at me and gave a meek smile "Thank you Umbreon… Can… can we talk later?"
My smile got wider "Sure."
Her smile went away "In private?"
Mine left as well "Okay."
Espeon's point of view
"Is there a reason that you call yourselves the resistance?" I asked as I walked through the forest with the Buizel and the Scyther.
The weasel promptly answered "Because we actively go against the organizations that threaten and mistreat our fellow Pokémon."
"That's a pretty thinly veiled way to say you don't like Team Rocket." I responded, not impressed in the least.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw that the Scyther didn't seem too happy with what I had just said, but I had little care for what made him uncomfortable after the tough guy act he had pulled before.
