Hi! Here is the continuation with the famous battle of Hoth! Feel free to vote (if you like it) or to comment!

Luke's point of view

I was announcing to the front line that we are approaching to support them against the imperial forces. We pass over them, in order to approach the group of imperial walkers. Their imposing silhouettes could be seen in the distance, showing the threat to the Echo base.

Luke: Come on, kids, get into tight formation.

Mara: Yes, Dad.

I smiled at her little joke. But it didn't take long for me to regain my focus on the dangers ahead.

Dak : Luke, I don't have an approach vector! I can't plug in!

Luke: Relax, Dak. Attack plan Delta. Go for it.

So we began our assault. The first burst had no effect. After that, I fired a series of shots at the walker's legs, without even damaging it. I had to make another approach and I was already thinking. No matter how much we shot at it, nothing happened. And one of the speeders was hit, crashing on the snowy ground.

Mara: It's no use, Luke! We're just risking our necks, and it's not working.

Luke: Indeed. Their armor is too powerful for our lasers. We'll go through the harpoons, and wrap them around the legs. It's our only chance to stop them.

I began my approach, trying to avoid the laser fire in our direction. I warned Dak to be ready, to fire. Unfortunately, my gunner had a fire control failure and had to go through the auxiliaries. Damn it! This was not the time! On top of that, another of our ships was hit.

Me: Hang on, Dak! Get ready to throw a cable!

I could see one of the TB-TTs facing me, greeting me with its salvo of heavy laser fire. I did my best to avoid them, and managed to get under the legs. When I felt no resistance, I turned to Dak, to see if everything was all right. His silence was more than enough to tell me that he had been killed by one of the shots.

The enemies continued their approach, nothing seemed to stop them in their irresistible advance. This frustrated me! There had to be a solution!

Me: Rogue 3 and 13, I need you

Wedge: Copy that, Rogue Leader

Mara: Copy that, Rogue Leader

Me: I'm out of shooters, I need you

Wedge: Copy that.

Mara: Copy that.

Good thing I could count on them, to get me out of this mess.

Me: I've got your back. Be ready to fire your harpoons and follow me, at the next pass.

Soon I was accompanied by the two as we approached two armored quadcopters. I did my best to cover them, while avoiding fire. I passed under the legs of one and could already see Mara's speeder starting to wrap the cable around the walker. She was maneuvering well and calmly. I didn't feel any nervousness coming from her, despite the situation. I almost envied her for that. After a series of turns around the legs of their targets, the two finally unhooked the cables.

To my satisfaction, the two walkers took their last steps before collapsing heavily onto the white ground of Hoth. We took the opportunity to make another pass, passing rebels on the ground. Then a salvo was fired at the weak point at the neck, blowing up the two trapped armored vehicles. However, the fight was far from over.

When we made another pass, I could see that the situation at the front was catastrophic. Our forces were being defeated with cruel ease. We tried a new approach, towards the TB-TTs, keeping our formation tight and low, in order to avoid the laser streams of our enemies. Despite my recommendations, Rogue 2 was hit and crashed. Then it was my turn, the controls no longer responding.
