Me with a smile: She was a remarkable warrior. I still remembered, that she was with General Skywalker. Both were so amazing to watch, their fighting styles harmonized perfectly. No enemy could face them. Everything was going well, until...

Leia: Until?

"We were approaching our objective, the hangar, to stop that coward from running away, when I sensed danger coming from behind us.

I had just enough time to shove Anakin aside before I caught a dagger in my left shoulder. I gritted my teeth, trying not to scream in pain as the blade pierced my flesh, fearing I had poison on the blade.

The rage I felt from my love was frightening. A black aura, ready to kill anyone who aroused its wrath. Soon I heard a quick blow, before I saw a white helmeted head, with the leader's crest symbolized by a snake surrounding a planet, flying through the air. Then the recognizable light of my love returned, with its worried glow.

Anakin: Kyria...

Me: I'll be fine, Anakin. Go after him! If you don't, more people will pay for this civil war!

He was hesitant, but I convinced him with my eyes. I grimaced as I made my way back up the stairs to the clones, hoping for some healing. Obviously, the dagger was poisoned! I could feel the weight of my legs getting heavier with each step.

As I reached the throne room, I could hear screams from the second floor. Immediately, I hurried to the throne room, even though my vision was becoming increasingly blurred. I could feel my heart speeding up as the stairs seemed terribly long...Far...

Leia: Shmi? Are you okay?

I came to, before giving her an embarrassed smile.

Me: Oh! Sorry! Lost in my memories. Where was I?

Leia: That General Skywalker and my aunt were fighting harmoniously, until a certain event.

Oh yes...I still remembered the pain of the episode and Anakin's terrible sermon, after the battle.

Me: Until their pursuit of Governor Kesta. But I'll tell you about that later

Disappointed Leia: Why?

Me: Well...it was a pretty painful episode for your aunt, despite the victory.

Yes...that was the time I learned that terrible lesson. Even though I was a Jedi, I could not save all the innocent people in a battle. A bitter victory, in my eyes.

Me: I can, at least, tell you that Skywalker succeeded in stopping the dictator. And Arkasis has lived in peace ever since.

Leia, somber: Until the Empire appeared.

Me: What do you mean?

Leia: The Empire invaded, barely two months after his proclamation. Since then, they have imposed their authority, not hesitating to use violence. Don't you know that?

A whole fight, for just two and a half years of freedom...I felt like all the fighting, the sacrifices made in that stupid war, were for nothing.

Me: I...lived apart, for a long time.

Leia: It must have been a lost planet, then

Me embarrassed: Oh yes it was.

Damn it! I was such a bad liar! If my niece had noticed anything, she didn't notice. Instead, she placed a bouquet of yellow flowers on the headstone. I recognized my favorites. No doubt, an indication from Bail.
