Silence fills the bar once again. The melody that came form the record player had reached its own end minutes ago. Positioned back to our seats, no one had spoke up of the situation we had gotten ourselves into; which prince will be taking the human?

Weird isn't it? Once I was nothing but some lowly servant devoted to royals who had no interest on me in the first place, but now I have six princes who might turn on each other just to have me as their spouse.

But why? Out of the many, much more suitable partners out there why me? I cannot rule a kingdom, I cannot carry myself as a royal, I can't even be bred!

Wait... Bred? Since when did I...-

Ugh! I can't think straight!

...

"H-hey..." Someone finally speaks up, turning to see who spoke, it was Silver. He was very hesitant with his wording, worried to be outright opposed by his suggestion:

"Why can't we six have Quinnii?.." No one replied nor refuted to which the wolf then explains his decision:

"I mean... the six kingdoms had existed together for years on end. We have lived peacefully and shared many things with each other. So, where's the harm in sharing a spouse?"

"The masses would not be satisfied to have a human wed their royals." As I expressed my conjecture Silver's conviction wavers but returns with a fervent energy.

"And so what? We can choose whoever we desire and many royals before us has proven that!"

"However a relationship with this many people involved may stir chaos among the people, especially if that said lot has the six princes as a part of it."

"Many rulers had harems as well, and shockingly thrived. And again, six kingdoms rule this place so there's not much that is going to change."

"But-" Silver suddenly got up, quickly went towards me, and grabbed both of my shoulders firmly. His face holds a strong, desperate resolve to go with the wild idea.

"Please, Quinnii... I- no. We want you, we love you..." The wolf's face then softens as he pleads.

"Our desire to be with you will never fade away. We will do whatever it may take to have that dream come to fruition..."

My other admirers hold a similar look of passion and dedication as I face them. I can feel myself fall deeper into doubt as another begs as well:

"Quinnii, our rose, I beg of you please give us this chance. You don't have to dwell onto what others may think. You are ours, and that is final." Anuki's hand cups my cheek as he delivers his words.

It seems that the bull's statement spoke for the others as well seeing as their minds are truly set on this path.

A few moments of silence and staring pass before I break it with a sigh. I grabbed Silver's hands, still onto my shoulders, brought them together and set them onto my lap with mine clasped around his.

My eyes wonder somewhere else to avoid the expectant gazes locked onto me. Suspense builds further as I prolong their waiting. I gulp nervously before carefully laying out my thoughts:

"I-..." Their eyes grew more intense in both fear and hope.

"I'm afraid... that I would not be a fitting spouse for you and a worthy king for the people..." The tense shoulders of the men relax but in disappointment with their eyes now glued down to the floor.

My own eyes close shut as I purse my lips hoping that the impact wasn't too hard on the princes.

...

...

"Why?" My eyes open up to a persistent wolf whose face was mere inches from mine.

"Why must you make it so difficult for you to understand? You are the one and only spouse for us and there is no mistaking it."

"... But I-"

"Please! Enough with this!" Suddenly I feel a soft warmth enclapsed around me. I soon realize it was Silver hugging me tightly with his head burried in my chest. The others share the same resolution as they too join the embrace.

"My dear, whatever danger there is out there, whatever bad thing there is we will protect you." I hear Sar speak up with a desperate tone. Typhim soon follows:

"We will give you a new life more joyous than this. You are worthy of far better things." His tail coils around my leg as he speaks.

"Didn't you wish to live not as a servant anymore Quinnii?" Fahreal inquires to support the shark's statement.

Its true. Ever since the idea was given to me my curiosity grows even further of what awaits me in that life. But everything came so fast. Both fear and hope are battling for this choice making this even more difficult.

"... I"-

"Hmm" a gruff voice comes from a masculine, lean figure scanning a giant mirror with a live image of his interest; Espeirio and the human servant.

"Seems that both our targets are in one place, makes it easier for us to eliminate them." A sassy tone comes from the feminine more slimmer body that comes up to the pondering man.

"That is true, but having to deal with the human is a different story compared to the peaceful city."

"Should've sent someone to kill him earlier than threatening the kingdoms to kick him out." Sneered by the woman yet the man seems unfazed.

"You know that once he reawakens to his true power it wouldn't be good for us. That's why we erased his memories and threw him out. I didn't think that he'd be still living even after we exiled him."

By his last statement the woman was quick to burst out in rage as she yells:

"Of course that damn human would still be alive! You were too soft on him and spared him. Now look, he's getting even more stronger and it wouldn't take a while before what we fear actually happens!"

Yet even that it didn't shake the figure that stands tall.

With a hard sigh the woman says as she leaves:

"Forget it. Just know I won't be there to save you when he starts a massacre."

Heavy footsteps are heard for a few seconds before a loud thud of a closing door follows.

Left in the room alone the man speaks up to himself or rather to someone.

"*Sigh* I should have done better for you Quinnii... You have grown so much and learned new things on your own and despite all of the pain I have put onto you you never wavered and kept moving towards your desires. You've met many friends and accomplices, and have even found yourself lovers. But you will still come to a sad fate."

His head lowers and his voice weakens as he finishes:

"... I am forever sorry Quinnii... My dearest friend."
