My surroundings can be simply described as nothing but complete darkness.

The noise of gurgling water soon fills my ears, confirming that I am submerged somewhere...
Somewhere deeply unknown.
I try to speak even if my words may come out unintelligible, but nothing is produced from my mouth.

Reaching out doesn't seem to work either as I touch nothing other than the water I am floating in.
It feels oddly too real for this to be a dream but it doesn't appear that I may wake up from this.

I am snapped out of my own wonder as something groans in the watery expanse. I can feel its vibrations course through my whole body.

Whatever this being is now seems to swim around me. Reacting to this I call forth my weapon and keep myself steady despite being afloat.
The creature bellows once more this time nearer than before.
Agh!
A part of itself strikes at my back sending me away. As I regain my composure I thought:
What are you?!
The creature responds, though not through its mouth but rather from my own mind. Its voice was sonorous and spoke with an imposing demeanor.
It seems you do not recall me, my vessel...
It roars with the strength to push me and the water away from where the sound derives.
As I struggle I reply:
Vessel-? Show yourself!
The movement abruptly stops and the area quiets down, then it moves again at a faster pace around me in a circle. The water swirls, spinning me in place.
You have grown well and better than your younger self.
Another monstrous shout.
Yet is your experience so far sufficient to contain me anew?
All of this is new to me. A vessel? Of what exactly? I may have forged several contracts with demons but to be a holder of a being...
