"To gain one's goal calls for resilience and unwavering determination."

Ever since that day. That ever so vivid dream. Something within me starts to burn; a goal of some sort.

To remember more of myself.

Or perhaps to find out what being I may turn into.

Maybe both...

Is there anyone out that that truly knows what exactly I am? Or who i was? If so, they don't seem to want the idea of reaching out to me. Maybe they're avoiding something or-

Metal clanging reverberates throughout the vast field alongside the casting of various spells. Sounds of grunts and incantations repeat from two individuals; a beastman and a human. The bull brings his swords down onto the smaller man. The other blocks the assault with a weapon of his own, now shaking under his opponent's force.

Throughout the battle the human has been drifting through his thoughts while instincts carry him throughout the battle. The past events haunt him and has made him worry as to what may come to his future.

"Grraaah!"

"Hyah!"

The boy leaps away before being completely overpowered by the bigger male.

"Ignus!"

"Nieybe!"

He fends off another attack from the beastman.

"Hah!"

"Guh!"

He staggers backwards from the punch on his abdomen. The boy recollects himself, staring towards the bull but his focus isn't directed at him.

Said beastman had noticed something odd with his partner and so he called out:

"Hey, Quinnii..."

The boy, still positioned, is too drowned in his thoughts to notice the beastman had already disengaged.

"Is there something irking you?"

Still thinking...

"Quinnii?"

Still questioning everything about himself...

"Quinnii!"

"*gasp* Y-yes? Is something the matter?" I look up to Anuki, my sparring partner, staring towards me with a concerned look.

"It's just that... you have been acting strange today. You've asked us to train with you suddenly but it seems you haven't been focusing." I felt Anuki's hand on my shoulder as he spoke.
