HANA
"This Jihoon guy, are you sure he isn't interested in you?" Miyoung asked as she busily paints.
Hana took the liberty of visiting her friend's apartment and she did not expect to see her painting. Really if she had known her friend was busy, she would've never went there but since she didn't want to waste the time she spent driving all the way there, she stayed. Miyoung insisted anyway, she confirmed Hana's presence was not a hindrance to her focus.
Hana frowned after hearing the sentence Miyoung had just uttered. "Do you think so? I mean he's already aware I'm dating someone, isn't that enough of a sign that I'm not available?"
Miyoung looked at her with a 'are-you-serious' expression. "Look of all the people I know, you're the less dense. I'm sure you can tell if there's any other feelings involved aside from friendship."
"Let's give it some time. I have my suspicions but I don't want to confront him yet. I want to spare myself from the embarrassment in case I am wrong." Hana says as she takes a sip from the juice Miyoung offered to her earlier.
Hana isn't dismissing the possibility that Jihoon really may have some other feelings involved in his act of kindness but they barely knew each other, the last thing she wants is not only to embarrass herself but to lose a friend because of her overthinking.
"Does Heeseung know about it?" Miyoung asked.
"Of course, I tell him everything after all. And besides, I don't think that's a detail I shouldn't be telling my boyfriend." She answers the question.
Miyoung's eyes that was fixated earlier at Hana returned to the painting she was finishing. "That's great. The two of you really trust each other so much, I hope that never changes."
Hana smiled after hearing what her friend said. Miyoung is one of the greatest person she's ever met. They met all thanks to Heeseung, who introduced the two to each other. They became friends after that but they became even closer when Hana had asked Miyoung if she could teach Haneul arts. Although she wondered at first why Hana approached her instead of bringing Haneul to an actual art academy, she agreed in the end because she understood their situation.
"You're the best Miyoung, if Sunoo doesn't do anything about his feelings, I'll give him a good smack in the head." Hana jokes, grinning playfully at Miyoung who snorts. Her eyes then fall to the painting that was close to being finished, only then did she realized it was a painting of the sea. "Where is that place? It looks pretty."
"No idea." Miyoung shrugs. "Which reminds me, do you know how to paint? Haneul is very good at arts for his age and he mentioned your mother was also very good at it."
Hana's eyes widened. "He talked about my mother?"
"I-I'm sorry! I shouldn't have brought your mother up so carelessly." Miyoung was quick to say sorry after realizing what she said.
