HANA

Taking a deep breath, Hana pushed the door open to their family home.

It's been a while since she last visited and the place hasn't changed at all since she last saw it. The maids were quick to approach her the moment they realized who just entered the premises. She missed living with them under the same roof, she did grow up nicely because of their assistance.

"Miss Hana, you're home!" The maid smiles. "Haneul is currently in his room--"

"I'm here for dad. He's home right?" She smiled back. The lady nods and informed her he was currently in his study.

Walking upstairs, she made her way to her father's study but she stopped first in front of her old bedroom. Twisting the doorknob, the warm colors of her old room welcomed her. It was as clean as ever and almost nothing changed, it looked the exact same way she left it. After closing the door, she immediately turned her head to her father's study.

Hana remembered watching her mother brush her fingers into the spine of the books as she tried to search for a literature to read for her young daughter, who was very eager at that time to listen to her mother's great storytelling. Knocking on the door, she didn't even wait for her father to say enter before she opened opened it. She saw him sitting there, reading a book, not even fazed to see his daughter who barely came home standing there with a blank expression.

"I figured you'd come here, especially since the news that came out." He says, sipping from his coffee. "You're very easy to figure out sometimes Hana."

Clenching her fist, she hid her hands behind her back. "Did you do it? Did you spread those pictures?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about." He shrugged, feigning innocence.

"You did it, didn't you? Only you would spread those images at our anniversary." She said, stopping the urge to sneer. "Our company's name is going to be stained."

He chuckled. "Stained? If anything a lot became more interested in our company when the rumors of you and Jihoon dating came out. That's why we're not denying anything because of all the publicity we're getting."

"My name is stained! I'm being called names by my schoolmates!" She says, raising her voice but again his face remained straight as if he couldn't careless how she feels. "Of course you don't care." She mumbled.

"What do you expect me to do Hana?" He puts the book down and crossed his arms.

"Deny the rumors, that's all I'm asking. The media would believe you more if you deny it." She said.

"Alright I'll do it in exchange..." He paused for a while. "Break up with Heeseung."

Her eyes widened. That was by far the most absurd sentence he has ever said. No matter what angle she looked, none of it seemed fair.
