"Shit."
Heeseung mumbled under his breath as someone hit the back of his car. The impact was so strong, his body jerked forward causing him to hit his head in the steering wheel. Luckily though, it didn't create a wound but instead a small bump.
Getting out of his car, he faced the old man who hit his car. "Why were you driving your car so slow?! Look at what you did!" The old man was quick to blame Heeseung. He points at his damaged car but it was crystal clear that Heeseung's car was more damaged in the accident.
"Stop blaming me. It was perfectly clear you were speeding! And my car is more damaged than yours!" Heeseung argued.
"Ah so you're blaming me now because of your irresponsibility? You old folks really think the world is your cradle." He glared at the younger.
Soon enough the police came because of the traffic they were causing. Heeseung couldn't think straight, he had to call Hana. He had to talk to her but he couldn't slip out of this, the old man kept pinning everything on him when it was clearly his fault.
"How about you both settle this in the police station? You even have a bump in your head kid!" The officer says.
"But I have to be somewhere." Heeseung argued.
"Then pay me so you can make up for what you did!"
"Alright enough, you both have to go to the police station now. You can go later kid when everything's settled." The officer instructs them.
Heeseung massaged his temple. It was their anniversary, he wanted to surprise her. He cleared his schedule just for her, he turned his back on his studies just so he could spend the day with her. But out of all the days, why does this have to happen today?
He sat at the police station, explaining his side to the officer. They went on and on because the old man refused to settle, he tried twisting the story to make Heeseung the bad one. As he sat there, he saw one of the officers watching the news and since no one was talking to him, he decided to watch as well.
His eyes widened when he saw what was being showed in the news. It was a picture of Jihoon and Hana in a car, talking. He knew very well where his car was parked, it was in front of her apartment building. His head began to spin as he read the headline.
