HANA
What was Hana doing in her father's office?
What did she even want to say to him? Did she want to ask him why he never bothered asking if she was alright? Why he never visited her during her days in the hospital?
Hundred of questions ran around her head but she didn't have the strength to speak it out loud. So instead another sentence came out of her mouth, a sentence she didn't even want to say in her visit.
"I'm sorry for causing a scene."
Her father nods. "I'm already aware of that condition of yours. Next time, try holding it back."
Hana wondered why she was so surprised when she heard what he had to say. She has known her father for the entirety of her life, there was no way he would ever ask her if she's okay. Brushing away her thoughts, she guiltily looks down after what he said.
"The doctor advised I go see a therapist to fix it and I'm going to do it. I just wanted to let you know." She informs him and again, his reaction remained the same. "I guess that's all I have to say." She didn't bother telling him she knew his and Eunbin's relationship. She was very sure her aunt already told him about it.
"Hana, you don't have to attend the year-end party. Just fix that issue of yours." Her father suddenly says. She then remembered there was an annual year-end party that she and her father always attend.
Although that sentence may seem normal to anyone, Hana still considered it as her father's own way of showing his affection. She can't believe she's settling for bare minimum right now. Was she that desperate for her father's love? Slightly smiling, she nods before leaving the office. She pulled her handkerchief from her bag and wiped the single tear that fell from her eye.
Ever since her argument with Heeseung, she became even more fragile than she already was. She's having troubles keeping her composure so when her emotions come out, she has a hard time controlling it. Getting inside her car, she tried to slap herself multiple times to get herself together. Even while she was driving home, she kept telling herself to stop being so emotional.
Opening the door to her apartment, she laid on her bed tiredly. Has she always been this tired?
Hana admits, she did miss Heeseung but whenever she thought of him, all she could remember was their anniversary, his scholarship, and his failing grades. She loves him very much but she can't just set those aside, she can't just forgive and forget every time because in the end, they only get hurt. And she didn't want that. She didn't want their love to hurt.
She didn't want their love to destroy themselves.
All of a sudden, Hana heard soft knocks from the other side of her door. Standing up, she opened the door for her visitor. Her eyes widened when she sees Jihoon standing there with his dog in his arms.
