HANA
"Aunt Eunbin?" Hana's face became pale when she heard what Jihoon said. "Let her in."
Both Heeseung and Jihoon shared a confused expression after they heard what she said. "Are you sure?" Heeseung asked to make sure she actually meant what she said.
She wanted to confirm something with her and if ever she suddenly felt the need to throw up, she'll just try to control it. But right now, she needed to talk to her aunt. She answered him with a nod and looked at Jihoon as a way to tell him to let her in now.
Heeseung looked at her. "Do you want me to stay?" She nods with a slight smile on her face.
Jihoon nods. "I'll go tell her she can come in. Here I bought you food in case you're hungry." He placed a plastic bag at the table before leaving the room.
Hana takes a deep breath first as she watched the familiar woman enter the room. Even her stance screamed elegance and grace, something she used to admire her for back when she was a child. She entered with a soft smile even though she was in her late forties, the beauty she holds never once faded.
"Hana, it's relieving to see you awake now and..." Eunbin paused when she sees Heeseung sitting next to her bed. "You must be Heeseung. Her father briefly mentioned you."
"What do you want Aunt Eunbin?" Hana straightforwardly says.
"First and foremost, I want to apologize. I know I'm part of the reason why you're here. I also want to talk about your father." Eunbin said, inhaling first before dropping the bomb. "Your father and I have been seeing each other for two months now."
Hana's jaw dropped and she felt her heart stop for a few seconds after hearing that. She wonders why she's so surprised, she should've seen this coming. She tightened her grip on Heeseung's hand, forcing herself to calm down before her stomach begins acting up again. The real thing that bothered her is the fact that she's hearing this from her aunt instead of her father.
"I don't even know why I'm so startled." Hana comments, chuckling sarcastically at the end. "Why are you telling me this? Isn't this supposed to be a topic between me and dad?"
"Your father thinks you wouldn't mind but I know how you feel about me especially after what happened to your mother." Eunbin explained. "At the party, me and your father was supposed to break the news to you but things happened."
"Hana I can't love your father fully if I know his children are against the idea. I may not have children of my own but the last thing I want is for you to hate your father even more than you already do because he chose a woman you disliked."
