Kai's POV

Yesterday Katsuki waited outside the bathroom door just to yell at me and demand a rematch.

I, of course, declined and he's been pissy with me all morning.

I should've just kicked his ass, but then he wouldn't be all fired up and ready to train harder.

Not only was Katsuki up my ass, but there was a horde of reporters stationed outside the school gates.

Tiresome.

Now it was Homeroom, but our slacker teacher was nowhere in sight.

I couldn't be more bored.

I'd try to sleep, but after what happened I don't think there'll be a danger of me dozing off in class anytime soon.

A voice came from the announcement speakers, "Kagami from 1-A to the office."

At least I won't have to listen to people whine about how late Sensei is anymore.

I stood from my chair, gathered up a few of my belongings and left without a word.

The halls were quiet and peaceful as I fullforce sprinted through them like a mad woman.

Why sprint?

I've been cooped up in a chair all freaking morning and I wanna skuuuurrr.

I made it to principal Nezu's office just in time to catch my father's tired form leaving, "What's up?"

"All Might's employment here is now public knowledge."

That explains the reporters.

Wonderful, dad hates media. This is gonna be a shit show. I'd be lying if I say I didn't expect it though.

"Damn. I'll catch up with you later then I guess. I'm assuming whatever Nezu has for me will be interesting." I pushed into the office, "Principal Nezu!... and Mirio? What's up dude?"

The smiley blonde pulled me into a hug and stared into my soul with his glassy baby blues. "This suit you made is a godsend." He pointed to the disk secured to his skin.

Masaru had messaged me a while back to update me on their progress and ask how to set the oxygen sensors to release the bots at the right time. Supposedly their boss was shocked and wanted to meet me, but I declined and the Bakugou's kept my identity a secret. Mirio can also keep the disk on him a lot easier than clothing, so all's well that ends well I guess.

"I'm just glad it's working out for you. If you ever need help with anything on it, I'd be happy to take a look." We sat across from Nezu as a cool breeze blew through the room.

"Thanks, I definitely will!"

Nezu cleared his throat. His teacup clinked against the saucer as he set it down. "I'm sorry to cut the pleasantries short, but I'm afraid I have some urgent news surrounding the aforementioned issue to discuss privately with miss Kagami."

"Oh of course!" Mirio stood and bowed to us, "Have a good day sir. You too Kai."

And with that, Nezu and I were left to our own devices. I shifted uncomfortably in my seat as my phone buzzed beneath me.

That's my work phone...

"You should probably check it." Nezu sipped his tea as he watched me dig my phone out, "I'm sure we both know who it is."

Shigaraki.

The message simply read: "'Assemble.' What are we now? The fucking avengers?"

"Language Miss Aizawa. And don't think I didn't see those pants of yours. If I hadn't called you here, you'd probably have come for a dress code."
