Sleep Walking #17

Strange things have been happening. Strange and sometimes scary things. What happens when Carmen, your girlfriend and team red find out you sleep walk? 

Warnings - mentions of knives but nothing terrifying or even violent. (idk whether to bother putting it as a warning?)

Strange things have been happening around our HQ lately. Random stuff will be found well out of its normal place. For example, a chair was found in the shower room and all the cutlery from the kitchen had been completely taken out of the drawer and thrown all over the floor. This is what I had woken up to. And that was just the beginning.

"Why on earth is there cutlery everywhere and things keep disappearing, why?" Ivy asks unsure whether to be worried that someone has broken in or annoyed with whoever keeps moving stuff. "I don't know Ivy. It's strange. But I may have a hunch. Where's Carm?" I asked her. "Right here. Also, who placed my coat and hat on the top shelf of the bookcase? I could barely reach them." I didn't want to admit what my theory is just yet. I want to be certain first. "I recommend setting up cameras all around. That'll tell us what is going on." "I'll get right on it!" Zack yells from the other room.

Time Skip

Me and Carmen lay in our bed as usual getting ready for a good night's sleep. I put my pyjama t-shirt on and sat down on the bed and pulled the covers over me. She was already in bed. "Have all the cameras been set up yet?" I asked her. She simply nods her head in response as she reads her book. "Alright then, goodnight." I say and kiss her on the cheek. Little did I know my dreams were going to be rather odd.

Time Skip

The next morning, I woke up in bed as normal. Maybe nothing out of the ordinary happened last night. Unfortunately, that moment was short lived. Zack could be heard screaming his head off around the HQ. That made Carmen jump up immediately on alert as soon as she woke. Okay, surely whatever happened couldn't have been that bad right? We didn't even have time to get ready for the day when Shadow San knocked on our door. He didn't open it but he spoke from the other side. "You better come quickly. This one is stranger and a little... unnerving." Wow, for him to say that it must be bad.

Me and Carmen found our way to the living room. My eyes widened at what I saw as did Carmen's. "Who did this?" She questions. Someone had gotten all the knives from the kitchen and stood them upright in the lounging area all over. If someone were to fall, they would be seriously hurt. "Uh oh." I obviously said it louder than what I thought because everyone was staring at me now. "What's uh oh?" Ivy questions with a raised eye brow.

Nerves begins to build up. "Err, let's just have Player check the footage from last night. It might not even be what I think." I say trying not to trip over my words. "And what exactly do you think y/n?" Zack says looking at me suspiciously. Player appeared on the laptop screen which was a good enough distraction for me. "Player what did you find out about all the weird stuff going on?" Ivy asks him. "You guys are not gonna like it. Especially you y/n." I literally facepalmed. "Great it is what I thought it is then."

Everyone gasped at the footage. Even I was shocked it had gotten so out of control. "Why would you do that y/n?" Carmen questions with a hint of anger. Shadow San looks closer to the screen and points something out. "Wait. It's not what you think. If you look closer, you can she see is clearly sleep walking. And it's quite dangerous when you do by the looks of it."

Everyone looks at me again. "How long have you been sleep walking?" Carmen asks. "Err, as long as I can remember. But now that you all know, maybe it's best if you all keep an eye on it just to make sure I don't do something a lot more dangerous than this." I say motioning to the knives on the floor still. Carmen and Shadow San both agree it is a good idea. "As long as you don't wake me up while sleep walking." I tell them. "Why?" Zack asks. "I don't know but that's what they say for some reason." As long as it doesn't get worse than this it should be fine.
