A/N - I've only seen the series once so idk how accurate this is to the episode. Honestly, it can be slightly different since it is fanfiction after all. Also don't forget to send in any requests! Again, SPOILERS ALERT FOR THE HAUNTED BAYOU CAPER EPISODE IN SEASON3.
Your POV:
It was Halloween and I planned to attend the Haunted Bayou with two of my friends. I was dressed as a pirate and they were dressed up as Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. Like I said, I was the pirate or should I say, Captain Hook. That's right, a girl dressed as a male character. Though what I didn't expect was my entire life was going to change that very night because whilst mingling with people inside the Haunted Bayou, I noticed a girl dressed as a witch wearing a black dress, pointy hat and a black mask to cover her eyes. I knew I wanted to find out who she was since I was so drawn towards her but did not know why at the time. And so, I followed her.
Carmen Sandiego POV:
I kept watch for Tigress and Paper Star but as I was doing that, I occasionally found my eyes wandering over to a girl around my age wearing a Captain Hook costume. I smiled as she talked and laughed with her friends. "Hey Carm, why do you keep staring at that girl in the pirate costume?" I heard player through the hidden ear piece. "What do you mean staring at her? I don't stare unless I am looking for a certain person or certain people." "I think a certain red light has just shone bright because it sounds like you've got a crush." I rolled my eyes as I could tell by the tone of his voice he was smirking. "I can't have a crush; I haven't even met this girl." "Well, now is your chance. Her friends wandered off and she's now on her own." I looked over at her and he was right. I took a deep breath and made my way over to her.
Your POV:
The girl in the witch costume I found so alluring strolled over to me and I tried not to panic. "Hi, can I offer you a drink?" She asks and I smiled and took the champagne out of her hand. We clinked our glasses together and drank a little. "So, do I get name to match a pretty face?" The girl was actually flirting with me. This is definitely not something I've ever experienced before so I had no idea what to say. "Erm, y/n. My name is y/n." She smiled and said, "I'd like to get to know you some time." She looked behind me before handing me a piece of paper with what I was assuming was her number written on it. When she ran off, I spotted a wanted thief, Tigress. Luckily no one knew why me and my friends were really here except for Tigress.
Carmen Sandiego POV:
As soon as I got y/n's name, I saw Paper Star behind her and knew I had to go after her and stop her and Tigress from whatever their mission was. She threw many deadly shaped papers towards me but I managed to dodge them all. Then, I saw Tigress running past us. But that was not the weird part. Y/n, the girl in the Captain Hook costume was chasing her throughout the building. Maybe she caught the tiger stealing something from her and she wanted it back? Anyway, I eventually scared off Paper Star thanks to the help of the red drone being covered in a white sheet and red eyes over it. After she had gone, I ran off to figure out what was going on with y/n and Tigress. It was not what I expected.
Your POV:
I fought Tigress and she tried to kick and punch me in response but I was too quick for her. She was about to pounce at me when a flash of red came out of nowhere and side kicked her in the stomach. It felt as though this moment was in slow motion. Once Tigress had been injured, she ran to her escape. "You're not here for social purposes, are you?" The girl asked. It took me a moment to realise it was the girl dressed as the witch that flirted with me and gave me her number. "I could say the same for you." Was my answer. "Got me there. The names Carmen Sandiego." She said and held her hand for me to shake once again and I happily shook it.
Carmen Sandiego POV:
After shaking hands with y/n a second time, I asked her what the reason was for going up against Tigress and she explained the situation. Turned out she is a spy on the hunt for thieves but thankfully I wasn't one on their radar which means she is neither VILE or ACME. "What would say if I offered you a full-time contract to do missions with us. You'll get to travel the world." She didn't say anything for a few minutes which made me think she was going to decline. But then she said, "I'm in but I'll have to talk to my boss about leaving there." I nodded slightly. "Call me when you've spoke to your boss and we can arrange you joining us. Think of it as a first date if you want." I said and I took off as though I was never there.
