Lunch and new people

Natalie's pov.

We walked back to the car and got in.
As he put on his seatbelt he looked like was going to say something but, he held it back and started driving.
"Sooo, I know we probably got off on the wrong foot, but...let's start over"
His voice cracking as he looked worried.
"I'm sorry" I mumbled do out
"For what?" He looked surprised
"I haven't been this close to a guy before, besides my brothers"
I started thinking about my older brothers that died.
"Oh, you have brothers?" He said excited
"I did...but there was...he's not..."
I took a deep breath in as I tried not to think about regretting the decision of telling someone this.
"They died..."
"Are you serious? Awe, dude. I'm...I'm so sorry."
He kinda sank into his seat as we stopped at a red light, he bit his lip ring and put his hand behind his head.

"Ya, it's ok..."

"You know you can always talk to me about anything, right? Like if something's bothering you."

"Thanks, same here." I said but didn't really mean it, I'm not telling this guy anything...especially not now, we just met! Who does he think he is, my father?

We rode the wrest of the way in silence.

We pulled into a parking lot with a huge pizza place
"Do you like pizza?"
He asked again biting his lip
"I'm not sure...i haven't had it in years"
"Oh my god, you don't nothing until you've tried pizza!" He opened the door and let me in. he followed behind me to the counter and started to order.

"1 Extra large pepperoni pizza, and a regular pineapple and ham pizza, along with a sausage and bacon pizza, for here please."

"Ok it'll be right up"she politely said

2 girls started coming over with paper and pens. they looked super nervous.
"um... h-hi, um... can We have an autograph, and picture?" The said almost peeing in there pants.
"Ya, sure! What your guys names?"
"Sam"
"Tabitha"
"What?! I had a friend in my old school named Sam! And by brothers crush name was Tabitha! That's so weird!!"
He singed the papers and talked to them a little.
"Hey Natalie, can you take our picture?" Luke said shyly

"Um... how do I do it?"
He showed me how to do it and stepped back and posed with them with his arms around them.
"Who is she?" They asked him. I stood there awkwardly.
"Do you guys have Instagram?"
"Yeah" they answered at the same time almost in perfect sync
"Ok here follow me on this account, I'm letting everyone know once Michael comes." He handed them a napkin with his account
"Ok cool thanks, um... here can we give you these? We made them." They gave him 5 bracelets
"Ya sure thanks!"

"Ok, tell me right now, who are you? And Why did you take a picture with a complete stranger?" I asked almost annoyed by his shyness
"Lemme start at the beginning...my name is Luke hemmings and I am in a band, I can't live without of pizza, there is 4 people in the group including me, there is Ashton, Michael, and Calum, I am the lead singer, Ashton is the drummer, Calum plays the bass and,Michael , and me play guitar.
We all live together, and we are like family now. which you are now apart of if you accept us. and-"

"Did you just say if I accepted you guys?"

"Yeah why?"
"That's literally the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me...and I would never have it that way, I will accept anyone who would want to even think about taking care of me, or even thinking about me."
a tear then tried to escape, but I held it back. Thinking of my past I got upset thinking about my parents and my non existent friends...

"Well actually you will have to learn to accept us, we are all insane and we travel a lot."
"I don't care, I feel safe with you" i clung to his side finding a table
"That's a relief, I thought you didn't like me." he started looking at his feet
"No, I like you. I just don't know how to show it.plus its been like a couple hours since we met so..."
he pulled me into a tight hug and we just stood there for a while in the awkwardness of our hug.
He handed me a bracelet and put it on my hand
"Your one of us know"
