Sending the wrong message

Natalie's pov.

I noticed them all scatter into the kitchen, but not feeling that great, i went up to my room.

I opened the door and put my bags down. Retreating to my bed and looking across my new room.

I spotted my meds, which reminded me I need to take them. I start to go downstairs and I see That girl toss something over to calum.

Wait, are they?

Oh god no!
This ain't gonna happen, not while I'm here.

I walked straight over to calum and took the little pice of paper
"Can I see this?"

"Sure"

He gave it to me, and I tryed making conversation, so then I could steal it and run.

"That was good lunch"

"Yeah it was, thanks by the way."
Kimberly looked over at Calum like a girl would when they are trying to win over a guy, but with no competition.

"Your welcome. it was really fun."
He replied while getting his phone out

Ashton and Michael came out, with Luke behind him.
Luke was holding a box with ribbon.

"Um...guys?"

Luke then came out behind them, and gave me the box. I noticed Calum still on his phone at the Corner of my eye.

"Here, I-it's for you."

I took the box and looked at it trying to figure out what was in there.

"Just open it"
Michael started getting impatient

I started to open it, and failed...ashton had to help me open it.

"Thanks"
I said as he returned the box

I lifted up a bunch of papers to find some sort of phone.

I looked at it for a while, trying to figure out what to do.

"It's a phone"
Calum said abruptly

"Yeah I know, um... thank you."
I let out a smile, but in my head, I really didn't know what to do.

I decided to take it out of the box and turn it on.
They looked at me, probably wishing I would show more interest.

They soon stepped in and showed me how to work it. After a while I saw they where getting bored.

"Hey, guys. Thank you! I never had one of these, and I really like it, even if you think I don't."

"Luke leaded over and gave me a hug.
He leaned in to my ear, "do you really like it?"
"I love it"
When he pulled away, I saw that there where only 3 people in the room.

Leading my mind to wonder...where is Kimberly and Calum?

Calum then walked in. alone.

"Hey, what are you guys doing?"
He asked us looking across the room.

"Eh, not much, just teaching her how to use her phone."
Michael replied him, but I couldn't help but stare and wonder.

"Where is Kimberly?"
I had to know, and it accidentally came out of my mouth.

"I just walked her home."

"She lives over here?"
The questions just kept creeping in and, running out of my mouth.

"Yeah, sorta, she's like 17 blocked away."

"Where u gone that long?"
Luke was finally getting interested.

"Well...we ran."

"Uh-hu"
I found myself sounding like a mom.

"I'm tired, imma go take a nap."
Calum started walking away, but I just couldn't get over them...

So...i went up to his room, and knocked.
When he opened, I was surprised to see him in just sweats, and not hiding or anything.

"Um...hi, can I talk to you?"

"Sure"
He looked around his room to see how messy it was, and opened it up so I could come in.

I stepped into find his room was really clean.

"What's up?"

"Um...dont take this the wrong way, but...what's with you and Kimberly?"

"I don't know...maybe something. maybe nothing, why."

"Do you like her?"

"She did help me save your life."

"Um...sure."

"Is everything ok?"

"Yeah, but, you just met her. I don't want you to get hurt."

"I'm fine, I know what I'm doing, and I don't like her, but she is one of the most beautiful, smart, unique person i have ever met, besides you."

"Sounds like someone has a crush."

"No, I don't, thanks for the concern though."

"Ok...have a good nap."
He was already laying in his bed.

I walked out, and tried to wrap my head around what I just did.

I decided to take a nap myself, maybe help me relax.

I went down to my room, and closed the door, Slowly falling asleep in my bed.

Sorry I put this together on rush notice, my cousin and his parents came in, and we went to the Grand Canyon.
I am on my way home as we speak.
