Luke's POV.

Great...i leave for 2 minutes and don't get that much time with my fans, and now Natalie is hurt.

After Calum Finished telling me about what happened to Natalie, the girl told me what really happened.

"Looks like she was hit in the stomach, she has marks on her stomach that show where she was hit, it made her fall to the floor, making the cut on her lip. with ice, she should be ok, but she could have gone into cardiac arrest again."

"Oh ok thanks...wait! CARDIAC ARREST?!"

"Yeah there are signs that she had one not too long ago." She looked at me in confusion

"Um...Luke?can I talk to u?"
Natalie looked kinda nervous, which made me nervous too

"Alone? Or... "

"Yes,"
Everyone left as Michael started telling the girl how I adopted her, and everything else that happened this week.

"What is it?" I looked for answers in her eyes.

"Did u read the papers that the doctor had you sign for me?"

"No why?"
I was getting more nervous by the second

"I um...I went into cardiac arrest at the hospital...I honestly thought u knew, I thought they would tell you but...they lost me on the table. it took them 7 times to bring me back... If It didn't work one more time I wouldn't be here. what if it happens again? Huh? I don't what to die! But If I do, I don't want to be missed as much as I miss my brother. So just give me back to the orphanage." She had a strong face, that looked like she was trying to he back tears.

"Don't ever, ever, talk like that.
You are not going to die, it's not happening again, and If anything happens to you for some idiotic reason, I will never forget you. never. u will always be in my heart, I can promise u that till the day I die. And you are not going back to that orphanage, your with us now." I tried to maintain my composure, but to hear her, already giving up, made my voice crack a little.

I went over to her on the counter, and gave her a really long hug.

Until that girl came in and got her purse.

Then everyone else piled back in slowly, without me knowing.

Ashton came running in, with a bag on his for arm.
"What just happened? I heard someone say she passed out."

"Yeah, like 10 minutes ago, where were you?"
Calum looked disappointed at Ashton.

He pulled out a small white box

"Ah yeah, you got it,"
Michael was so excited

"We just need to put in the numbers"

I had known what they where planing, but Natalie had no idea. I watched face change into confusion and get all crinkled up

I just wanna protect her, that's all.
That's my plan

We started walking back to the car, and the girl kinda followed

"So, what's your name?" The girl looked up at me when I asked her.

"Kimberly."
She replied with a small smile, quickly turning her attention to Calum.

"So, wanna hang out with us for the wrest of today?"
He asked her while getting in the car

"Um...sure, i guess."

"So...im noticing something different about you,"

She gave him a raised eyebrow.

"You didn't attack us, like most fans do, and I'm not sure, but I thought I saw someone around you in the crowd did the fam sign."

"Yeah...that was me"
She sunk down in the seat a little as Ashton started driving home.

"Don't be embarrassed about it, I really appreciate it, we all do."
Calum glared at her

She got out her phone and started texting her dad.

I couldn't see very much, I didn't want to seem like I was stalking her.

"So, wanna get some food?"
Ashton started pooling into a chipotle.

"Yeah let's go"
I suggested a parking place, and we went in.

As We were getting in our house, l went straight to the kitchen where me calum, Ashton, and Michael where putting in our phone numbers and Kimberly tossed a pice of paper to calum... her phone number.

Things are going to get complicated.
