MY PLUS ONE

       The wind hits her face lightly as the car zooms closer to the town with pep. The oddly satisfying smell of the soil enters her system and thoughts get webbed into a collection of memories connected to Riverdale. A small smile breaks thinking of those fond memories. As the meadows skip past, she feels a tingling feeling in her tummy.

     The vehicle suddenly comes into halt just the moment when her stomach was rumbling craving for those old times burger and milkshake. She just thank God her husband was not there to ruin her moment.

Ronnie looks up and examines the dinner of Pop's, her features relaxing at the sight of a young black waitress serving a fresh burger. Veronica then pays for her ride with her luggage, she sets off inside. The moment she comes in she notices many changes having made from the last time she was here. Pop's expanded the area,beautiful flowers all lined up around the dinner and something that strikes her the most is that the rooftop now holds a large screen and a board hung up on the ledge that says open 24/7 movie under the stars.

Seven years ago she had set foot in this very same dinner. Back then it felt empty than how it is now. She guessed Riverdale must have changed.

She's then greeted by a dark skinned, dark haired woman. She could tell they were about the same age "Hello what would you like to have?" She asks, a beautiful smile on her face. "Hi! Veronica Lodge." Veronica introduces to herself with a smile "so you are the Veronica Lodge,I am so grateful to have finally met you.." She says " please call me Veronica Geko, where is pop tate?" She asks "ooh where are my manners, I'm Tabitha tate Pop's granddaughter, he retired two years ago he keeps talking about you and your friends on how you saved Pop's, I'm so glad I met you. " " don't flatter me." Veronica smiled back " so what Brought you to Riverdale, don't tell you are here about the big engagement party!" Tabitha said heading back to make her order " engagement?" Veronica asked, how come she was never told about some engagement, it made her wonder and want to ask whose engagement party was it when a certain door bell rang catching her attention who it might be.

Jughead Jones
Finally back to his old town, he sits at the back sit wondering how Archie and Betty have been doing, sometimes he just misses them so much and wishes to call them considering they grew up together but never thought the same best friends ended up betraying and hurting him. He has never thought he could forgive them but not seeing them like forever makes him rethink his forgiveness part.

He finally sees pop's right ahead, just seeing it brings back memories and gets him suddenly hungry. He suddenly wonders who might be waiting inside already remembering how they promised to meet at pop's the first time they meet. He guesses Archie or Betty since they always like being on time. He then reacts to the latest updates pop has updated which makes him think if Riverdale has really changed.

He finally decides to get in pop's. As soon as he gets in he heard a familiar voice a dark strong feminine voice and yet there she was standing right infront of her wearing one of her cream turtle neck and a crimson skirt. The raven haired girl was standing there eyes meeting his. She was still beautiful as ever not a thing about her had changed. He didn't expect to find Veronica Lodge, he never even thought of her.

" Jughead Jones." She smiled widely at him. Jughead smiled back since he knew what exactly it felt like meeting someone from your past. He felt sense of relief and joy tingling through his body and without expectation he felt her body into contact with his, he was hugging her. Really did Veronica really miss him that much? He could smell the heavy scent of her raspberry perfume, it felt addicting and comforting he wanted to hug her back but couldn't cause it didn't feel right. They weren't those kind of friends, they never tolerated each other but had to because of Archie and Betty.

The two instantly pulled away from each other, finding themselves in an awkward position. Maybe it was awkward because the two never really spoke unless team barchie were with them.
Veronica laughed as the two now sat at their old booth reminding themselves about the old times. Veronica was surprised Jughead still had that sarcastic tone in him that sometimes made her laugh. " So ...?" Jughead asked " how have you been?" Vee decided to cut the tension between them " fine, Ny has been very good actually" or the opposite Jughead lied as Veronica wanted to think otherwise " so congratulation for the first book release, I heard about it." She said sipping in her milkshake knowing infact she had read it "thank you." His facial expression changed just talking about the book that v seemed to notice that it wasn't a good idea. She wanted to ask but they weren't really that close, maybe she shouldn't but she just couldn't help it.
