"What made you come back?" Veronica eyed Jughead who was silently painting the wall. It was a suprise because she never expected him to come.

" just needed to get things out of my head....you know mothman stuffs." He sigh without looking at her who was behind him painting the other side. The building was slowly coming to picture so much to Veronica's taste. He was proud of her new friend who was still into business stuffs.
Jughead didn't know how much longer he would been fired from his current published writing.

He was then brought back from his spacing when Vee just ruffled his brunette. He eyed her annoyingly. She was really stubborn ever since she ended things with Archie which made him miss the kind woman.

"You know....you acting this way makes me miss the unstubborn girl." He faced her watching as she lean down on the front counter folding her arms around her chest.

" talk to me, I know something is up." She asked as Jughead just breathes out giving her a long stare.

"Actually, I have...this....Writer's block and it's not getting better.....I need a story by the end of the week or I say goodbye to my life's career " He spoke with some urgency. He was tired he just wished he could do something.

Then his expression changed into delight. He remembered he needed something....the mushrooms....they used to give him some ideas whenever he used them. He could write like the whole book in a night. He was sure Tabitha wouldn't like the idea but it was either way.
"I think...I really need them." " Jughead, I have to agree with Tabitha on these....drugs? I'm not sure they might hurt you or just make you worse." Veronica tried to be convincing but she knew it would be hopeless, changing Jughead's mind was not gonna work.

"Fine, just go do whatever you want...but you have to be careful with this....I don't want to see you...or anybody get hurt." Veronica demanded worriedly just like how she always does but it was in a cute way.

Veronica was leaning a bit close closing some distance between them and Jughead swore he somehow liked it the way she spoke.

" I won't get hurt....I promise, I'll be back in one piece " He gazed directly at her brown eyes as if it was some staring competition of your eyes have no power over me! But truth be told, her eyes had some effect on him and he loved it.

Just then Reggie comes in making them pull back as if they were caught doing something illegal. Jughead decided to then take the chance and leave. " Vee, I should probably go, had fun thanks to you." He winked at her before he left bidding Reggie too who just glared at him.

It was a minute after he left and Reggie started acting like an asshole. "Why didn't you call me? Aren't I suppose to be your business partner? And you called Jughead who you hate."

" yes you are but Jughead is not what you think, he's a nice person and my friend who was there for me...when you guys weren't." Veronica angrily spoke at Reggie telling him to stay away from her life if he was going to behave the usual.

"Fine I won't, you are defending him like he's some valuable person." Reggie mummers as Veronica heard. Was she really overreacting? She really didn't want to be misunderstood infact they were friends. She smiled at herself thinking of the green eyed guy.

It was the next day when Vee was busy helping out her ex boyfriend, Archie who was a coach. It was surprising how she was able to work with him without any feelings holding her back.
She was even able to ask him about Betty and how it was going with their relationship.

" What about you? When do we get to meet Mr Gekko." The mention of his name just made her expression drop, she had been living forgetting she's married and it has been fun for her but every time somebody would ask about her husband brought her to reality and she did not want to wake up infact she had sent the divorce papers and Chad has been threatening her.
