"oh my God." Betty was shook, she just didn't expect that her friend would be pregnant so soon. " Say something Betty." Veronica worried waiting for her friend to say something after she told her everything about tonight.

" So you knew but you weren't sure." Betty asked " yeah, I guess, it's just Gladys confirmed it." Veronica said nervously.
" Vee, you can't be sure just because Jughead's mother said it happened to her. We have to be sure." Betty insisted trying to calm Veronica down.
" Listen Vee, I'll try to call Cheryl--" "--no not Cheryl, she'll snitch." Vee cried and Betty agreed knowing her cousin. " Sorry I just said that since she's on her way here, okay I'll go to the pharmacy down town for the test since shops might be closed for Christmas." Betty rose taking her jacket with her.
"Are you sure you will be okay? I just don't want to bother you." Vee asked politely. " Vee your my friend so don't worry okay, I'll be back in half an hour then we'll talk." By this she left closing the door behind her.
Downstairs
After everyone left, Jughead couldn't find Veronica anywhere. He was worried he might have made her sad " Hey Arch have you seen Vee?" He decided to ask his bud who was outside chilling. " Ooh yeah, Betty went with her upstairs." Jughead wanted to head upstairs but Archie stopped him.
" I don't think you should go there, give the girls their space." Archie spoke making Jug weak making him seat down beside him. " Did... she look sad or mad?" Jug asked with a sigh " Mmh she looked hurt." Jug guts dropped also looking hurt. Archie looked at his friend. " Though why didn't you say anything?... Are you having second thoughts about being with her?" Archie looked mad. " Nope... never, you know I love her." Jug mouthed.
" Then she'll understand." Archie comforted his friend giving him a back pat.
" No she won't, it's just that... I panicked and never thought of it. I just don't want to rush into things considering she just lost her ex husband and got out of divorce. It won't be fair for her." Jughead said as Archie agreed.
" Your right but knowing Vee, she'll understand and she's a strong woman. She can handle herself." " Yeah but Vee is an emotional person within." Jughead smiled weakly. Just then the two saw Betty heading out to her car. " Hey Betty, where to?" Archie cried making everyone hold her attention.
" Just... I'm just going for Cheryl... Yeah she asked me to pick her up." Betty lied looking at both his friends. " What about Vee? Is she upstairs, is she okay?" Jug asked though he could sense that she was definitely hiding something.
