" --Jughead no need to answer, he was just leaving." Veronica cried from behind him with her arms crossed.
The guy just chuckled in disbelief like he did not believe that she would throw him out.
" So now your going for losers like this instead of me?" Jughead could not believe he was talking about him.
" Well Chad, the looser your talking about, is way better in things beyond your control." Vee headed towards me and grabbed my hands as I decided to play along realising the guy must have been her husband.
Jughead could feel her body shaking, she must be scared. He guessed.
" You know Vee, you won't get away with this. I'm going to leave you with nothing in this divorce."
" Chad I'm Veronica Lodge....have you forgotten the queen of wall street." Veronica's body tensed with anger as Jughead clasped her hand giving her all the confidence she needed.
" I know....but I know all your secrets so Veronica, I'm not going down without a fight." Chad angrily threatened.
Jughead just couldn't stand this guy and just dragged him outside.
" Get out of here and don't come back cause if you do, it's your end."
" She's beautiful right? Yeah but do you know what she does. She's just going to use you and dispose you....just like any other guy she's been.... expect your no different." Chad laughs mockingly.
" Yeah I know, everything you said is right but you got one thing wrong.....and you know what is that...I'm different from any of you guys. You should ask Riverdale be careful with who your messing with. It's a small town, you aren't in wall street any more." Jughead seriously said.
" Are you threatening me!?"
" That depends on how you want to take it "
Veronica was so impressed. She heard the two talk from outside and just listening to Jughead just reminded her of his Serpents gang in the past which somehow had these bad boy vibes and something about that just turned her on.
Just then Jughead came in and closed the door behind him. It was silent and there was this awkward atmosphere.
" Is he gone?" Veronica asked
" Yeah he is, he might not come back for a while " jug guessed " no he'll be back, I know him." Vee said
" Are you okay? Did he hurt you or anything." Jug hurriedly approached checking on her body.
" I am, he wouldn't. He just seem violent sometimes and crazy." Vee explained heading to the kitchen.
" Do you want some tea?" She looked so calm that Jughead knew she must be holding it in.
He then silently approached her to the kitchen counter but she kept stepping away knowing she did want to have another break down.
" No don't." Vee shouted in anger but Jughead didn't care but just found the right time and just embrace her.
She was being stubborn and not wanting to seem weak, crying for Jug to let her go.
And there she was weak and vulnerable in his arms. Again why again, she didn't like that and he made her that way.
"I was scared Jughead.....and you weren't there....you know how much I hate you." Veronica kept on crying and repeating those words as Jughead calmed her down patting her back and encouraging her to let it all out. He knew he also needed to let it all out, the vent, the anger and everything they were mad out to the world. It took some minutes till she cried to sleep.
