A week passed

Veronica has been alot busy, keeping herself. Everything had been stressing out for her and once in her lifetime of marriage she was going to change, she missed herself lately just because of some boy who didn't deserve her, no one deserved her. And she was tired of getting treated like that.

So she decided to keep herself busy by renovating the old Blue velvet video store to her own jewelry store with the help of Smithers and Reggie, her ex boyfriend who at the end betrayed her by working with her dad before going to prison.

" so how does this work?" Reggie walked around the old destroyed building checking it out. " we are going to renovate it, by painting an-" "yes I can see that but...where are the mechanics shouldn't they be here by now?" Reggie asked.
There was silence when Reggie knew from her expression there was no engineers. " Veronica, don't tell me this is about Archie...right now we really need him to fix this place." " no we don't need him and FYI I'll be the one fixing this place didn't I ever tell you my grand papi was an engineer so I'm going to fix this.

Reggie did not believe what he was hearing, maybe she had lost it after her second heartbreak. Reggie felt sad for her, this is not how Veronica would operate. "V, I think you should rest mmh?" He held both her shoulders but Veronica shrugged them off "now you think I'm crazy?" " no...its just your Veronica and..." Veronica could not believe what she was hearing.

Everyone has been treating her like some kind of princess. She was tired of this been treated like a child it just reminded her of her daddy and she hated it. " you think I just can't do this things just because I'm Hiram's daughter?" Reggie didn't get a chance to correct himself but Veronica was just exploding after what he said.

"If Betty would be the one to do this you guys wouldn't question her...I can't believe you Reggie do you think I'm doing this just because of Archie......you really don't know what I'm going through and you...are just here judging me...you know what just leave!!" Her voice was cracking and she was trying very hard not to break, she had already broken enough and she couldn't afford people's pity.

"I'm sorry geesh!" "JUST GO REGGIE!!!" She pushed him violently towards the door till Mantle decided it wasn't a good time for her.
After Mantles left, she started crying again. She didn't know why she was still crying but it has been weeks and everything felt distant and unsafe. Neither New york nor Riverdale has become safe and peaceful for her. Sometimes she feels as if her husband is following her or coming up with something big to ruin her but she'd rather continue staying at Riverdale than New York.

Present day before Cheryl's party.

Jughead has been glaring at Archie for a long time now and it has been an hour since he came in with his buds from worksite. Archie may not have realised but he felt someone glaring him.
" till when are you gonna stand there and scaring away my customers" Tabitha spoke from behind.
" what?" He cried pretending doing something " don't think I didn't see you eating Arachie alive. It was since he came." Tabitha said as Jughead stopped after realising the truth.

"I'm sorry...its just I can't bare to see him all fine after..." He confessed, he has not been himself since weeks ago after seeing Veronica like that. Even infront of Tabitha he just hated himself thinking about her. " Jughead i understand but that is not for you to decide...wanting to beat him up is good but it'll just hurt more people plus...yourself and I...don't want to see you get hurt." Her voice trailed off brushing his arm soothingly.

She was an angel and she did not deserve him. He has gone through alot and now he just keeps thinking of that moth story Tabitha had told him and he just needed to write something and so far he has written nothing other than worry for the dark haired princess.
