IT'S OKAY NOT TO BE OKAY

Veronica woke up, she felt lazy, tired, happy, sad. It was a mixture of different emotions not knowing why but she remembered yesterday. Yap, yesterday everything didn't go well but atleast someone befriended her yesterday. She smiled stretching her self rubbing off her heavy eyelids.

Just a move her whole body ached, was it really a bad hangover. She squeezed herself out of the bed tossing her sleeping robe down the floor remaining bare heading to the shower. It wasn't until the water run down on her and memories of her and Archie making love came flooding in her mind reminding herself all his touches all over her body. Her feelings were still lingering and she just wanted him against her body.

It was later when she got a call from Archie. Her heart was racing with a smile on her face. She clears her voice pretending to be not that eager. " Hey Ronnie." How his gentle soothing voice called her name made her feel crazy.
" yes, Archiekins." She replied.

".....so I....called cause I was curious....are you okay?" Veronica smiled thinking Archie must have not slept well worried about her but she didn't want to make him more worried. She was already happy hearing his voice. " yeah I'm okay, did Jughead....tell you anything?" She found herself not able to trust him not after she regretted being open to Jughead but he couldn't have said anything or he just might ask Archie.

" uhm...no...I never met with Jughead since last night...why is there something he should tell me?" He curiously asked
" no nothing....just not important....so what were you saying?" She tried to avoid his many questions.

" I wanted us to meet at pop's, we want to discuss something." He said " if you are able to make it." He asked her as she quickly responded that she'll be there. She was just happy she's going to meet him. I hope things we'll work out.

Well she forgot things never work out easily in Riverdale. There she was sitted with Archie just as she wanted but with Jughead and Betty by his side. She really hated this view infront of her but she tried to wear her perfect fake convincing smile. She swore she could feel Jughead's eyes onto her knowing he must be worried not after the bomb she released onto him "I was hoping that we plan pop's retirement part today night since we haven't been around so..." Archie stated

JUGHEAD
He arrived earlier at pop's, happily meeting the woman who gave me an idea of something to write. Tabitha was there cleaning the booth's with her sunshine smile that made my day.

He walked in greeting her " so first day Jones?" She asked with one of her eyebrows raised " yes miss Tate." He grabbed the pair of uniform heading behind the counter in the changing room when he saw pop's and just seeing him made his day more brighter. Something about this Tate made people happy and that including him.

" pop's you are here....I missed you." He got closer hugging him. " ooh Jughead, I really missed you too." He hugged him against his big belly, it really felt warm but not warmer than her. What am I thinking she's with Archie now.

He smiled back, he guessed pop's must be here for his retirement party. He soon changed and began doing the chores Tabitha assigned him till when four figures walked in Archie, Betty, Toni and Veronica.

They were the last people he wanted to meet except Toni and Veronica. He realised there eyes met the moment she came in. He tried hard to avoid but just looking at her brown big eyes kept reminding him about yesterday.

Why was he feeling this weird now that he knew that her husband beats her. He just wanted to make sure she was okay.

Her cries, pain and how weirdly close he had become with her especially after saying she considered her his friend.
