BlackSwan Prophecy; KOTLC Fanfiction

Chapter One: Getting Ready

As soon as Sophie, Fitz and Keefe were all ready to leave on there adventure to meet
with the Black Swan they left the house. "All right, lets travel to the Hide out Foster" Keefe whispered. "Um, like you said, you're the only one who knows how to get there or what it looks like" responded Sophie. "Yeah, exactly why you have to read my mind so we can get there- duh" Keefe insisted while he shut her eyes and stood there patiently looking at her "I'm ready."

"You really want me to do this?" She asked "I mean... I thought you wanted to lead the
way." Keefe pulled a crystal out of his pockets. "I'm.. Not entirely sure where this will take us and I'm pretty sure it'll be no where near where we need to be. Sophie looked at the shiny crystal and it only took her a moment to realize it was his dad's crystal, the one only council members were allowed to have. The forbidden cities crystal. He had stolen it from his father, and then somehow lied when they came back, even though they really hadn't used it. Or he stole it another time...

Was he planning on going to the forbidden cities? She had to ask herself. It didn't get her
anywhere though, she decided to forget it.

Fitz stepped towards them "Guys we don't have all night here finish this up so we can
leave without being caught." He finished as Bianna and Dex both agreed. "Okay, okay, I'll read his mind now" Sophie said as her eyes closed again and she sunk into Keefe's mind. It felt like she just jumped right I to a trap. His head was filled crazy ideas and pranks to pull of on different people. She started to focus on the bigger thing right now though. She needed to find his memories of the Black Swan's secret place.

So many memories passed by, but she couldn't find the one she needed. She passed by
so many memories of his parents being disappointed. The strange thing was, that she could feel his emotions he had at those very times. As she kept scrolling through them one caught her attention. The memory he had when he was going to help and protect her on her mission to find the Black Swan using Silveny. The memory when his dad seemed proud of him. Where his dad was giving him the Sencen crest. The item his mom used to track them down and attack them with her group. When he left a scar on her shoulder and Sophie thought it was his dad hurting her. Keefe, had actually been the one to do it to her. He didn't know these things yet. He was so happy and proud that his parents were finally excepting him for who he was.

That wasn't really the case though, his mom was in the rebel group, and now his heart
is broken. He doesn't love her but, he wasn't expecting it and it's hard for him to manage living with someone like her for his whole life and not knowing. The memory of him facing his mom in battle passed. He was torn apart. He thought it was his dad who already had a mean and scary personality, but to find out it was his mom who always made sure, or tried to anyway, that his clothes looked nice. That he was dressed at least in some way nicely. Was always sad about what he did in school. She didn't actually care about him, she was willing to kill and hurt him to continue what she was doing. Now his clothes were back to un-tucked and non-fancy. His hair was messy again. Sophie thought he looked better like that though, she always preferred the non-fancy Keefe then the well dressed and greased hair Keefe.

Finally Sophie came across the memories she was looking for. The girl, Jolie, standing in
front of a window with the Black Swan's mark. Hard to see if you haven't noticed it, but now that's all she see's when she looks at the window. Now, there were more memories, things she hadn't seen yet filling her head. The street it was on, which city, and everything else. The exact location she needed to go. She could teleport there now.

All the memories zoomed past her so quickly in a second she was in darkness, then she
burst her eyes open, "I'm ready." Keefe stretched his arms, "Great, let's go jump off a cliff now!" He said with excitement.
