Chapter 14: Clay's Journey

Shop his couldn't believe it, she needed to know if they could hear her. "Hey guys!" Sophie shouted as all of her friends looked at her and gave her weird expressions. All of the dragons immediately stopped talking with eachother. They just froze. They all turned their heads and looked at Sophie. The only one who didn't see mr hat surprised was Starflight, sitting next to her, but that might be just because he's blind and can't really see who was talking, but he could hear where it came from, and he knew she was sitting there so... "Did... Did you just say... Hey guys, Sophie?" Tsunami said. "Yeah..." I wanted to know if you could understand me because I could understand you..." Sophie explained, "Come to think of it... How come you guys couldn't understand me before, but you could when I transmitted to you? Oh right..." Sophie said remembering one of her abilities to understand other language, talk in those languages, and sound like other people. "I don't know" Sunny said, "I'm new to this, well. Besides the lies from Nightwings, but never experienced that!" She finished. "Right, let's get back to that, but FOOOOODDD!!!" Said Clay. "Oh stop pouting you big lug!" Glory shouted, "just finish your story, and then Sophie will figure something out, remember?" Glory said. "Fiinnnnneee" Clay replied. She turned back to her friends who were giving her even weirder looks. "What's wrong?" She said staring at them. Keefe burst out laughing. "What were you SHOUTING?" Biana said. "What do you mean?" Sophie asked. "Um.. Foster, you count hear yourself?" He asked between laughs. Keefe was rolling on the floor gasping for air between laughs. "Sophie, are you okay?" Fitz asked. "Uhhh, yeah... I still don't understand what's going on..." Sophie responded. "YOU WERE SHOUTING LIKE YOU WERE A DRAGON!" Biana shouted and she joined Keefe in laughing. "Ohhh... Yeah, I can hear the dragons for some reason now... It's really strange, but I'm not going to argue, it's cool, I'll figure it out later, but we have a story to catch up on!" Sophie explained. Everyone stopped messing around and continued listening as Sophie went through repeating what Clay was saying, land the other dragons.

Clay looked down at Sophie, "So anyway, that's the prophecy, and we were the dragonets of destiny." Clay explained as Sophie examined them, "What's a SkyWing? You guys don't have any SkyWing with you." Sophie asked. "The SkyWing eggs was captured by one of the queens blah blah blah, we didn't have a SkyWing egg, so they stole me, err my egg, instead." Glory answered for Sophie. "Ohhh" Sophie said telling her friends. "So, we had to be raised in secrecy by other dragons, who pretty much all died except for one SeaWing named Webs. He was the best of them, the SkyWing, Kestral, that's raised us, wasn't the best. Morrowseer was the worst, but she was pretty much second worst. All of our other guardians died during this journey but... All separately. We were practicing fighting and them Morrowseer came to check our skills and didn't like Glory, he was going to have her killed, but I managed to escape with Tsunami from the mountain we were raised in. We couldn't quite fly, but we repeatedly tried to escape the mountain through the hole on the top of the mountain. It never worked, but there was a river that I thankfully survived, when Tsunami saved me. We got out for the first time, and trying to save the others bumped into queen Scarlet-" Clay stopped whenGlory interrupted them, "and I managed to pelt her with my poison after tricking her! But sadly she managed to SURVIVE" Glory shouted." Tsunami rolled her eyes.

Clay continued, "anyway, we ran into scarlet after running into a scavenger that stole her treasure, sadly she killed it, and she wanted to take me and Tsunami with her... Kind of creeped me out, but Tsunami managed to attack her and we escaped. We got to the entrance of the cave and opened, with some trouble when Scarlet had followed us, attacking our guardians, then Scarlet held us captive for a while." Clay explained. "So wait," Sophie interrupted, "What is Scarlet queen for?" Sophie asked. "Oh, she- WAS- the queen of SkyWings, thanks to me, she isn't anymore." Glory said feeling proud. "Oh" Sophie replied. Clay continued, "We were in prison there for a while, I met a Dragon there named Peril." As Clay said that Tsunami glared at him. "We became friends, she brought me food, mud, and we had nice conversations. One day Kestrel was brought in, and when she was suppose to be gone, she was act u ally with me. She found out Kestrel was her mother, and she hadn't killed her twin brother, and her mom didn't die. She stood up for her mother, and Scarlet did not like this. Later, dragons started to sing the dragonet song, and Scarlet came out and locked us into, us meaning me, Tsunami, and Starflight, because Sunny was caged over the dinner area awaiting to be Queen Burn's "toy" and Glory was Scarlet's "accessory" at that point, Peril's room with firewalls blocking the way out. Peril helped us escape, but told Scarlet where we were because she only wanted to help me escape, she didn't like that I was with them. After that day, she had Tsunami and... Her father, Gills in a match together..." Clay slowed down. "Yeah, yeah, I killed my father because he was mad, he was trying to kill me. He was dehydrated because he refused to kill dragons bla blah blah, they took his water away for months, and I didn't know anything about my family, or who they were, I didn't know Gills was my father. He was attacking me, I was basically forced to attack him. End of story." Tsunami finished. "Uh.. Yeah that, anyway, so she put Starflight in the arena, and then had him fight humans. Later other NightWings came and took him away by killing all the IceWing prisoners. After that she was mad, and then had me fight Peril since apparently dragons born from blood red eggs are practically immune to fire, which Starflight lacked to tell us." he said as Tsunami and him glare at Starflight even though he couldn't see them. "The. That's when Glory shot her poison, but aimed for Burn originally, until she shoved Scarlet in front of her." Clay finished. "Wow" Sophie said. "Yeah..." Sunny said, "They managed to free me after that, and we traveled to the mud kingdom. We actually found Clay's mom but...." Sunny trailed off
