Thomas' P.O.V

Shots rang out in the room when the others had joined me.

I aimed my gun at anybody I caught trying to get out.

Whether all of these people were part of the creation of the different trials or not, I didn't care.

They had something to do with WICKED one way or another, and they had something to do with the deaths is so many.

Aim and fire was all that was going through my head. I didn't care about none of these people, and I sure as hell didn't care if they died.

Too many of us had died, and now it was their turn to feel our pain.

The sound of triggers being pulled, and bullets meeting bodies soon died down as we were standing in the middle of what seemed like a graveyard.

Lifeless bodies of WICKED men and women lay piled on top of one another.

I didn't want to look at the blood oozing from their wounds, so I shut my eyes when I had to walk by them.

"This is what you all get." I spat out.

"Come on, let's find our next victims."
Minho suggested.

We walked aimlessly through the building, shooting everybody we came across.

Finally we came across one room with a giant screen in the middle, with two chairs close by.

Instantly, I recognized the room.

We were in the same room that was in my dream.

I remembered Teresa's warning about what was supposed to happen at paradise. Thank god for her warning.

Just then the screen turned on.

"What the hell?" I heard Teresa say under her breath.

There was nothing visible on the screen except a white background.

Chancellor Ava Paige appeared on the screen.

Whoever was left of the original Gladers gasped when she appeared.

"Oh crap." Minho muttered.

"Hello. Welcome to WICKED headquarters Chicago." I could hear the evil in her voice.

"Go to hell!" One of the female Gladers from the second maze shouted.

Ava Paige spread her mouth into an evil grin.

She could hear, and see us. I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.

"What do you want? You guys killed our people, this is what you deserve." I spat out.

"You see, that's where you're wrong," she smiled her evil grin once again.

"You think you are so brave to come here and think you can kill the people who have dedicated their lives to helping you." She shuffled in her chair.

"Dedicated their lives do helping us? You guys sent us to a maze to die, a scorch to get killed by cranks, and "paradise" just to release creatures, and you call that helping us?" I was infuriated by her words.

"You deserve to die." I said.

"You don't know what you've gotten yourself into young man." She stood up.

"Guards, take them." Ava ordered.

Guards? What guards?

Just at that moment, I felt a pinching sensation in my neck and I was surrounded by blackness.
