Teresa's P.O.V

My eyes blinked open, and I was immediately surrounded by bright lights.

As an human instinct, I immediately tried to move my arms, but they were chained to two walls.

However, my legs and feet were not chained.

A few computers, and two hospital beds surrounded me in the room. A giant screen was connected to computers, although it wasn't on.

There were bright lights pointed directly at me, something my eyes hadn't been used to the past few days.

What is this place? I thought.

I looked to my left and I saw Thomas, chained to walls also. His head was hanging down, something was wrong.

"Thomas!" I screamed, but his head was still hanging.

I tried kicking the wall, but this glass was unbreakable.

"Tom!" I yelled my nickname for him.

It was no use, he was probably passed out. Or, they had sound proofed the rooms. I had to wake him up.

We had to get out of this place.

The chains banged against the walls as I tried to break free.

My hands had gotten bruises from all the tugging and pulling.

There's was no way I was going to break out of the chains. They were too tight and too strong.

I screamed in defeat.

After a couple minutes, I realized it was only Thomas and I in the room.

Where was everybody else?

Are they okay?

These questions rushed about in my mind until I heard the door open.

There stood the evil Ava Paige and Janson.

"Let me go!" I screamed while tugging my hands that were chained.

I could see Janson laughing.

"Nobody can hear you darling." He said between chuckles.

Ava walked over to a computer and pressed a button.

The front of the small glass room opened, and so did Thomas'.

"Let us go, what do you want from us?" I tried to say calmly.

"I'm afraid we cannot do that." Ava explained.

"You and your little friends killed some of our beloved workers here. You must pay the price." She continued.

"You killed some of our people too! You deserved it." I spat back at them.

The chains to my left began to brush against my wall. Thomas was awake.

His door was still closed, so I couldn't hear him.

Thomas looked over, and saw me, screaming. It seemed like his eyes were going to pop out of his head if he didn't stop.

I could see in his eyes he remembered about our telepathic link.

Teresa! Are you alright? Thomas said telepathically.

He must've forgot we still had our telepathic link.

Yeah, I'm fine. Are you? I replied.

Yeah, I won't let anything happen to you Teresa. He vowed.

Don't worry, we'll find a way out.

He calmed down a little, knowing I was alright.

When he realized Ava Paige and Janson were standing outside, he looked down in defeat.

Ava walked over to the computer, and opened Thomas' door.

A tear streamed down his face as he looked down.

I can feel his pain and sadness, it hurts me to see him like that, knowing I can't do anything to help.

I can't imagine what he feels like, loosing somebody once, and possibly loosing them again.

"I'm sorry we had to do this," Janson began.

"We are trying our best to be the good guys." He finished.

"Chaining people up doesn't make you good guys!" Thomas said angirly.

"I hope you know this is for the good of the world." Ava Paige said before she shut the lights, and her and Janson walked out.

And there we were, helplessly chained to walls, and vulnerable to anything in the darkness.

I laughed at the responses I got for guessing my age. Guys, I'm 13. Not 15, 16, or 17, just 13.
