My Enigma

Love Story

  "The stars are bright tonight," Gon whispered next to Killua. They lay on the grass outside of the electric chapel, watching the sky at night as the other had always wanted, holding one another's hands.

  Gon exhaled before continuing, "but you're brighter than all of them put together."

  "Dude, that's so cheesy, literally shut up." Killua managed to get out before bursting into laughter. Gon was amused by his faux harshness.

  "Ah, I just remembered."

  Killua sat up and reached into his bag. Gon looked over in curiosity.

  Killua had pulled it out. It was precious. Facing Gon, he didn't say anything as his face told him how much he wanted it. There was a pause before Gon fiercely grabbed it, beaming with delight.

  "Oh my God! I can't believe this!"

  "I bought this when we went to the mall. You said you didn't have it and I saw it in the back of one of the shelves, you must've missed it. Now your collection can finally be complete." Killua explained, smiling at how much Gon cherished the eighth volume of Dead END.

  "I cannot thank you enough. Seriously, I could not find this anywhere, I can't believe I missed it."

  "Dumbass."

  "Hey!"

  Gon playfully flicked Killua's forehead, "Ow!"

  The couple both tormented each other, and it was full of affection and pure love. There were no fears or states of worry in any of their minds. They both shared their own peak of euphoria. Together, they were both so happy, they could die—together forever. Always.

  After the excitement between the two died down, they went back to facing the stars together.

  "Hey Gon?"

  "Yeah?"

  "I wish we could just stay like this for eternity."

  "Me too, unfortunately we have to deal with life... yuck."

  "I thought I'd be alone forever, but now I know I won't. I have no home, but with you I can spend my life."

  Gon blushed at Killua's statement madly. He sat up and faced his boyfriend.

  "Marry me Killua, you'll never have to be alone. I love you and that's all I really know."

  Killua smiled with affection, sat up and faced his partner while they both grabbed the other's hands. "It's a love story."

  The two sang in unison;

  "Baby just say yes."
