(a large ass time skip-)
A couple weeks passed as Luci was helping Calah build the house then dreamed to have.
14 rooms.
Large kitchen.
And a large library.
And a huge room to patch everyone up after hunts.
It wasn't exactly the house they thought of when they were younger, but it was something better.

Bruised, dirty, bleeding hands were a part of the process, as Luci was the one building, Lena sat back, Michael tried helping and Calah helped with the layout.
As Luci panted heavily, he layed on the floor, breathing heavily.
He was completely exhausted and weak.
This would take days, even weeks and months.
But he would have to work day and night.
This was the house he promised them, and he would keep that promise.
The sun starting to set as Calah sat with Lena.
They sat on the car hood.
"the sky is pretty over here."
Calah says, as Lena hums in response, smiling.
"I'm glad I finally got to meet you. Even if that means, leaving all the hard work to Luci."
"ah... He insisted on doing all this, he's a stubborn man."
Calah laughed, as did Lena.
"... I hope he lives."
Lena says, looking down and frowning.
"... I do too."
Calah replies.
She was devastated about it, only seeing Luci for weeks, knowing his time was coming up.

Michael layed down next to Luci, looking up at the sky, darkness filling in as it was painted with stars.
Luci smiles softly as he reached to the stars.
Michael turned his head to Luci as he looks at his hand up in the air.
"you'll reach them one day."
Michael says, staring at Luci as Luci looked at him as well.
He smiled, scooting closer to Luci.
They layed in silence as Luci put his hand down, which it rested upon Michael's.
Honestly, he was too scared to move it, his heart raced as Michael was too.
Michael was about to speak as Luci got back up, sighing.
"uhh... I need to work more.."
Luci says, turning away as he grabs a piece of wood, hiding his blush as the darkness of the sky hid it well.

Another week and another.
His time came, and he drove off, leaving Lena, Calah, and Michael alone.
He didn't want them to deal with this.
He made it to an old storage, as he hid his hands in his pockets.
The darkness of the storage was giving off a creepy atmosphere, as his footsteps were the only thing to be heard.
He heard footsteps behind him as he turned around.
He was faced with nothing more than darkness, as he heard growling.
He couldn't see the beast.. Not at all.
He nearly ran away, but decided to stay, as he braced himself.

As he heard running footsteps, of the dog, and terrifying growling, he wasn't met with death, he was met with Adam, holding the beast back.
"GO!"
Adam yelled.
"WH... WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
"JUST GO!"
Adam yelled, as Luci ran off, and was left with nothing more than his fear, and the sound of Adam killing the hell hound.
He was in utter shock as to why Adam would save him?
Was it the house? The pain of leaving Lena alone?
He didn't care, he got out alive, and he was going to build the house he promised them.

He sped off as he was met with concerned faces.
Michael was the first to run to Luci, tackling him as did Lena and Calah.
He was on the floor, and Michael, Lena, and Calah were on him, crying.
"how'd you get away-?"
Michael asked in Luci's neck.
"the demon himself saved me."
Luci says, as he tried his best to hug all of them, smiling.
He was grateful, and he was happy to have more time with them.
He was going to build the house, and he's going to treat them better.

This was a new beginning, as his eyes were opened to what he was about to lose.
His sisters.
And his... His..
"I'm glad you made it out, I don't know what I would've done without you."
Michael says, as Luci chuckled.

Maybe he could just sleep after this.. It was comfortable at the moment, even if it was on the floor.
