Comfort angel.

Luci walks downstairs as he smiles at the smell of breakfast, calah humming to songs as she cooked.
Lena soon walks down as well, then Adam.
They all sat at their assigned seats, coffee in hand just the way they like it as Luci sipped his coffee.
His eyes squinting, trying his best to adjust.
He's an angry sleeper.. Like a bear.
Calah smiled as she placed all the plates down.
Everyone dig in as they all said their thank yous, Lena was on her phone, while Adams, Calahs, and Luci's were on the table.
Then Luci's phone started going off, like he had a crazy girlfriend.
Messages upon messages.

He groaned as he picked the phone up, looking at who sent them.
They said harmful things.
'you're not a boy.'
'kill yourself, scum.'
'you're a disappointment to me and your father.'
'I never loved you.'
'you're the spawn of Satan.'
'answer me fucker.'
'answer me, [...]'
'answer me or I'll call the cops.'
Luci blocked the number as he was about to eat again, then he dropped his fork.
He was sad, and mad.
His heart raced, as he sat back, his eyebrows furrowed.

"what's wrong, lu?"
Lena asked as Luci looked to them.
"ah, nothing.. Just spam callers."
He casually smiled off as Adam tilted his head, looking to Luci as Luci shook his head slightly and made a gesture to.. Now isn't the best time to talk about it.
When everyone finished eating, as well as Lu, they go to their things, as Lena and Calah found themselves a case.
Of course, luci gave them the keys to his car, and he told them to be safe, making sure they had knives or at least a gun in their pocket.
Adam smiled as he walked to Luci, waiting for the two to leave.

Once they left, he gripped Luci's shoulders and made Luci face him.
"What happened?! Did you get someone pregnant?! Did you murder an innocent bystander and they got a photo of your face!? What happened!?"
Luci looked at Adam with wide eyes as he chuckled a bit. He smiled as Adams shoulders relaxed, smiling as well, calming himself down with the smile of Luci.
"It was my mother, she was just saying all these things.."
"Hey, it's okay.. You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to, either way, I'm here for you and I'll always be here for you."
He lightly placed a hand into Luci's left cheek, as he smiled, booping Luci's nose with his thumb.

Luci smiled as he placed his hand over Adams, his face getting a bit red as he clears his throat, about to leave.
Adam did the same, his face getting significantly red.

Calah and Lena made it there, grabbing their machetes, busting in through the door as the cabin was.. Empty?
That wasn't right, they checked, there was vampires.
Just in, two vampire went from behind them and held them down.
"LET US GO!"
Calah swung her feet around as she was struggling to get out of the grasp, as did Lena.
They both slit their arms as they forced both Calah and Lena to drink their blood.
They let Calah and Lena go as they both rushed outside, hopping in the car as they drive off.

"what did he just do?"
Calah asked, wiping her mouth as Lena cursed, hitting the side of the car.
"he made us drink their blood, so now, in a couple hours, we'll be a vampire as well.. but there's a cure, luci knows."
When they made it back, they had to shield their eyes from the light, as they walked inside.
Luci greeted them both with a hug, as Calah heard his heart beating.. The flow of his blood as the smell was so good, she could've drank the blood until there was no drop left.
"luci, take us to the hospital room we have, we've been infected, and we need to change back.. We're vampires."
Luci cussed under his breath as they both walked in the room, as Luci turned the lights off.

Adam grabbed the things luci needed, as Luci started mixing the ingredients together, his hands shaking a little bit out of fear.
Of course this wasn't the first time this happened, but it was still scary none the less.
He walked back in the room as Calah started panting heavily, and Lena just played with her nails.
Lena of course tried her best to deal with the hunger and Calah was new to it, so she tried her best, but she was hanging on a thread.
Luci handed them the cups as they both drank every last drop, then calah nearly gagged.

Luci sat with them until they both woke up, calah scanned the area as she sat up, seeing Luci reading a book.
Lena was laying in his lap as he smiled, fixing her hair.
"hey.."
"oh, hey.. How do you feel?"
"well, aside from a splitting headache and a need to throw up, I'm fine."
Luci placed the book down as he chuckled softly.
"well, that's what happens the first time you become a vampire.. The drink I did was the cure, and I know it doesn't taste good, but it's still the only way."
She smiled as she took the water from the side of the counter.

She wasn't asleep in her bed, she was still in the hospital room, knowing that Luci didn't want to take second chances.
It was reasonable.
She got up, looking in the cabinets for Excedrin or Advil.
She found some as she took it with the water.

"thanks luci, again."
"hey, you did kill them, right?"
Calahs eyes winded as she bit the inside of her lip.
"you killed them.. Right?"
"we forgot.."
Luci smiled, as he got up softly, taking his jacket so Lena could use it for a blanket or a pillow.
"Look luci, I'm sorry.."
"no I'm not mad at you, I'm not even disappointed, I'm happy. I was waiting to hear that, cause I.. I want revenge. No one hurts my family."
And with that, Luci laughs, leaving as he grabbed his coat.
