Overworked.

Lena was working on a case, she actually did 3 on the same day, only because most of them were regular salt and burns.
She had been asking Luci for the information because Calah decided to go out and buy some things.

She pulls her phone out and dialed Luci.
"Yes..?"
Luci lazily said, as Lena scoffed and smiled to herself.
"I need you to work on finding out what happened on this street."
Lena sent Luci the address as Luci groaned and agreed.
She hung the phone up as Luci sent multiple photos of police cases, and notes of what could be there.
It seems like it was a demon..

Lena smiles as she took out her knife, the one Luci sold his soul for as she had done the case.
It was a demon, and she was glad Luci worked so hard to conclude what it was.
She had gotten into her car, which actually wasn't darling, and she went to her shared house.
Just in time.. Calah was driving back from the store, and she had bought clothes for everyone.. She just went on a shopping spree because she found out how to hack a card for infinite money, and she was using it to her advantage.

Lena got her keys out and unlocked the door to be met with Pennie, jumping in her arms.
"Welcome home, baby!!!"
Pennie said with enthusiasm, as Lena smiles and kisses her lover.
Calah smiled sweetly at the two as she puts her bags down and shows them the clothes she bought for them.
"oh my god these are soooo cute!!!"
Pennie says as she shows Lena the matching shirts Lena and Pennie got.
"oh my god, we need to match for tomorrow."
Lena says as Pennie kisses Lena on the cheek.
"Absolutely."
Pennie responded.

"Hey y'all."
Michael says as he groans and stretches.
"Good afternoon!"
Calah said as she hands Michael the clothes she had gotten him, and his eyes went wide with surprise.
"my god.. That's a lot-"
Michael stuttered as Calah laughed out, looking into their room.
"wait, where's Luci..?"
Calah said as Michael checks the bathroom.
"uhh... He's not in here.."
Michael said, his voice clearly showing concern.

Lena and pennies eyes went wide with fear as everyone started running around the house, searching and scanning for Luci.
they were scared that Luci was taken again, calah blew his phone up as they stopped their movements, listening to the ringtone.
Michael slowly made his way into their library, following the sound as everyone followed.
"God please.. Let him be here.."
Pennie says as she tightened her grip on Lena's hand, lena squeezing her lovers hand to give her reassurance.

They all saw a figure and saw Luci's pink and blue hair, everyone let out a sigh of relief.
"Luci..?"
Pennie says as he layed a hand on Luci's back, making sure not to touch the wounds that were still healing.
His body was cold, but he always was.. He was stiff.
Lena puts a hand out next to Luci's nose as he was still breathing.
"I thought he was dead-"
Calah said, her hand on her chest as she let out another sigh of relief.

Lena looks around Luci, and saw all the books around him.. He literally overworked himself to the point of passing out.
Pennie and Lena let out giggles as Michael laughed out.
Michael pulls out the chair as Luci curled up into a ball in the chair, then Michael picked Luci up.
"Well, I'm gonna put him in his bed.. It's much more comfortable than a desk and chair"
Michael chuckled as they all left the library, Michael placing Luci in his bed as he walks out.

"How was the hunt?"
Calah asked as she sat down on the couch next to Pennie and Lena.
"I actually did 4- they were easier than expected, and they were close to home."
Lena said as she smiled and stretched, Pennie leaning her head down onto Lena's chest as she yawned deeply, closing her eyes as Lena placed a hand into pennies hair.
"That's good, hopefully I'll be able to go on a hunt with y'all."
Calah said as she smiled.
"same here.."
Pennie mumbled, as she drifted off into a peaceful sleep, in her lovers arms.
