Torn apart.

(Wow, Luci just doesn't get a break this chapter.)

After a week, Luci finally decided to start eating, and his wound healed nicely.
Calah packed them their things as Luci and Lena went out to hunt some weird god they found.
Michael and Calah stayed back as Calah wanted to teach Michael how to properly use a computer, helping him research.
Luci and Lena took out what they needed and decided to be cautious about it.
They snuck around a weird destroyed hotel, going through the floors using the stairs, as they slowly made their ways to the top, somehow not finding anything.

Luci groaned as his hand found his face, he was disappointed, he had hoped whatever it was, was there.
They went to turn around to take their leave, their stance had softened as they realized that nothing was there.
When they turned, they were met with two other angels, as Luci instinctively grabbed Lena's wrist and pulled her behind him, and he took an angel blade out from his coat.
They did the same as Lena took out her pistol, getting in a defensive stance.
Luci's eyebrows furrowed as he looked angry. He WAS angry.
"get the fuck out of here."
Luci says as Lena nearly choked on her spit, not hearing such foul things leave Luci's mouth before.
"we're not going anywhere, Lucifer. We've come to kill you, and we're gonna finish that job.."
The angel on the right said as Luci lowly growled in frustration.

Both of the angels started walking in opposite directions, surrounding Luci and Lena, as Luci kept Lena in a safe place everytime.
"if you want to kill me, go ahead and try instead of trying to find my weak spot, miss and I'll slit your throats open."
Luci said as his face was more serious and focused, when the angel behind him reached for him, he grabbed their arm, flipping him over so his body made contact with the ground, and the other angel ran at him, causing him to swing the blade, as the angel yelled in pain, falling to the floor holding onto his chest were Luci cut.

Luci grabbed Lena, running downstairs as fast as they both could go, and when Lena couldn't go as fast as him, he picked her up, and threw her over his shoulder, running.
When they made it to the car darling, lena was out down as she opened the door quickly, as Luci went to open his door.

In the middle of touching the door handle, he was grabbed by the angel he body slammed and was thrown away from the car, Lena jumped out and took her gun out, shooting as the angel laughed the shots off, walking to her, smacking the gun away as he grabbed her hair, lifting his fist up.
Before he could do anything to lena, she saw the brightest light ever, she looked down to see a knife in the angels chest, and Luci's hand holding the angel in place.
"I'm sorry.."
Luci said as he dropped the angel to the floor, before they knew it, the other angel leaped out and grabbed Luci, lena jumping straight into action, grabbing the other angels blade, and when she got up to stab the angel, she was faced with no one.

No one was there.
It was just her and the car.
And Luci's angel blade.
After hours of trying to find lucifer, she went back home to tell Michael and Calah.
She drove as she was met with anxiety and sadness, the rocks between the car tires were the only thing she heard and she walked out of the car, walking up to the door and unlocking it.
"these angels took Luci and I've been trying to find him."
Lena says, her voice shaking as she bit on her finger, holding back tears.
She was scared of leaving Luci again.
She was scared if Luci left her again.

Michael stood there as he clenched his fists, fear taking over him as Calah dropped the plates, causing them to shatter.
"we.. We can find them, right..? Right-?!"
Calah says as she kept making excuses to see if anything would work.

"Jesus.. I wanted him better, not... This.."
Michael said, as he ran a hand through his hair, grabbing his angel blade as he goes to walk out, only for lena to stop him.
"there's no hope, Luci already killed one of the angels, I'm sure he has this one... And he'll find his way home."
Lena says as she at least tried lying to herself to make her feel better.

They were met with silence for a couple of hours, lena fell asleep to get her mind off things as Calah decided to go out and try to find anything to buy for food.
Michael stood in the middle of the living room.
He was waiting for Luci.
A whooshing sound was heard as he ran to the outside door, opening it immediately to be met with Luci, Luci's eyes were wide and somewhat pink.
"Michael."
Luci said, almost breathless, collapsing into his arms.
"what did they do to you? Did they hurt you? How are you feeling, is there any pain? Let me see."
Michael repeats as he placed a hand on Luci's left cheek.

"they tore my wings off Michael.."
Luci said, his breathing was shaky and he trembled in Michael's arms, Michael was completely shocked as he ushers Luci to the couch, and made Luci's back face him.
He slowly lifted Luci's shirt up as he saw the two bones sticking out of his back, which were the excess wings.
He cringed and shifted uncomfortably as he took Luci to the big room where they patched people up.
He didn't want to, but he had to remove those bones from his back or they'll cause problems later on in the future, so he took out a scalpel, and did what he had to do.

Of course Luci was in pain, but Michael learned how to stitch and he ended up stitching Luci up, but because he needed a bit of work when it came to actually cutting something, Luci was left with two large wounds on his back.
That's gonna leave a scar.

Luci stayed there breathing heavily, absolutely traumatized as his eye was wide.
Michael slowly turned to Luci and took the bandage off of his eye, Luci flinched and looked at Michael with sorrow.
"I didn't want you ever seeing me like this."
Luci says, as he tried to control his breathing.
"but you're still beautiful."
Still Lucifer Flores.
Luci's face flushed almost immediately as he looked down, and Michael placed his hand back on Luci's left cheek, making Luci look him in the eyes as they stared at eachother.
No words were ever spoken, it was a silent room.

Their trance was broken by the sound of keys, meaning Calah had finally gotten home, as Luci cleared his throat, sitting up and smiling at Michael.
"thank you.."
Luci said softly as it could be barely made out, but Michael understood.
He smiled at Luci and when Luci left the room, Michael stayed put.

He looked down to the ground and he played with his hands.
Still beautiful.
