Many hours pass by.

And if I'm right, I think we're almost there now.

"Well, good news! We're just an hour away from where we're supposed to be!" Lapis announced.

Everyone sorta let out a cheer.

I know I would.

"fUuckin finally! We've been stuck in this van for so damn long!" Amethyst whined.

Out of the six of us. Amethyst sure was the most annoying one.
Garnet being the least noisy.

Lapis went through radio stations, trying to look for one that had catchy songs.
But most were static.

.....

I let out a sigh. I was completely drained.
I've been driving for ten hours!
Far more than the rest.

.....

If only I had my dodge...

"Hey...you ok?" Lapis asked.
She had her hand on my lap the whole ride.
Not sure if it was for her own desire or to calm me down.
Either one works I guess.

I nodded, resting my hand ontop of hers.
I felt comfortable doing that now that the roads weren't covered in snow.

"I'm hanging in there. Tired, but I'll live."

Lapis nodded, gently squeezing my thigh.
"Alright, just don't fall asleep and kill us. Especially when we're just an hour away."

I laughed a bit, "I'm not going to kill us. It's all fine now. Besides, I got you to distract me until we get there."

Lapis smiled, "sure. Watcha wanna talk about?"

"I don't know. You start a conversation."

She chuckled, "man, you haven't changed at all. Still that awkward ol Peridot from that warehouse."

"The Peridot that you fell for, may I remind you."

"Yea I guess you're right. Though, I remember clearly you falling for me first" Lapis raised an eyebrow

I quickly glanced over at her, "excuse me? You were toootally all over me in that warehouse."

She giggled, her hand trailing in circles on my leg, "whatever you say dork. There's no shame in admitting that you had a crush on me."

I rolled my eyes, a smile on my face. "Fine. But I can confirm that I was the one who made a move first."

"Nah ah. I did that too!"

I smirked, "I mean the first move under the sheets~"

Lapis was about to say something, until she realized what I said.
Her face went red.
"Peridot!"

I just laughed.

"...did y'all forget we're in the back..?" Amethyst suddenly said.

"Oh shush. You're just mad You're single" I bluffed.

Amethyst just shook her head mockingly.

"How faaaar are we from the town..." Jasper started to whine.

"Seems....like forty minutes now. We're close. So just hold on for a bit more" Pearl told Jasper.
"You too Amethyst. Why can't you both be like Garnet?"
