Lapis's Pov
Ooooh boy. Tomorrow's Halloween. And I haven't gotten my costume. Peridot said she would take me today.
But she was taking her sweet ass time at the bank.
....
"Rave eh? Sounds aight I guess" Jasper told Amethyst.
Both of them were talking on the kitchen table.
I was chilling on the livingroom couch.
"Yup. I told Peridot and Pearl about it. They thought it was a good idea!" Amethyst said proudly.
"Yea for some reason I don't believe that..."
...
A rave?
I quickly sat up, looking over at them.
"A rave? Like the ones that are loud and mostly illegal?" I added.
Amethyst looked at me with an eyebrow raised.
"Nd...since when were you there?"
...
"Since this morning.."
"Whatever. Yea, it's a rave. And yes, it's probably going to be illegal. But who cares. It's about the fun!" She shouted. "We finna have the best night of our lives!"

The warehouse all over again...
The door rattled. All of our heads turned towards the front door, and in came the shortest person alive!
My Peri!
"Ay P. You finally back?" Amethyst waved.
Peridot sighed, "yup. God do I hate bank lines..." she whined.
I quickly stood up from the couch and ran up to her.
"Peridot! Remember where you said you were gonna take me?" I reminded her.
She looked at me with a confused face, but quickly realized what i meant. "Right. The costumes. Totally forgot" she scratched her head.
"Yea fool! And Halloweens tomorrow too. Y'all better get your asses to the store, before it gets packed."
Peridot looked at me, "welp. Let's get going then."
"You're not going to stop and ea-"
She quickly grabbed me and dragged me out the door.
"We'll be back!" Peridot said before closing the door.
She held my hand till we got inside her car.

I looked at her confused, "what was that about?" I told her while putting on my seatbelt.
She shrugged, "don't want to sound selfish and all. But we haven't exactly spend time together. Alone that is. I figured we should go eat somewhere fancy after going shopping. Watcha say?"
It's true.
It's nice to be with the gang and all. But I sometimes kinda miss how it used to be just the two of us.
I smiled, wrapping my arm around her free one. "Ok Greene. Show me something fancy."
She smiled back, and began driving.

We quickly ran inside the store, trying not to get wet.
Once inside, we shook off water off of us.
Peridot playfully shaking her hair on me, getting water on me.
