Peridot's Pov

If I could wear sixty jackets without looking dumb.
I would.

It was cold!

I turned around in bed. It was eleven in the morning.
By chance I woke up....
Usually I wouldn't wake up until two in the afternoon.

Which isn't me at all. But with what's going on today. We need to get up.

I turned again. This time facing Lapis.

She was sleeping peacefully, her back facing towards me.
I couldn't help but slightly smile.

Wrapping my arm around her, I get real close to her.
I gently kiss the back of her neck, cuddling her back.

Lapis moved, letting me do more things.

"Hey Lazz~..." I whispered. My hand trailing down her thigh.

"Time to wake up. C'mon. Wake uuuup."

Lapis groaned. Trying to move away, but I held her close.

"Stop trying to ignore me and get up. We're going to be late, and we won't arrive in time."

Lapis again groaned, this time speaking.

"Mmmm...I don't wanna..." she frowned, burying herself in the blanket.

I just sighed, "don't wanna go see your parents..? Wow that's harsh."

She didn't say anything else, so she left me no choice.

I got up and yanked the blanket off the bed, revealing a curled up Lapis.

"Wh- Why! It's cold!" She yelled.

I just smirked, "get up before it gets late."

She just looked pissed. "Alright Alright! I'll get up, just give me the blanket!"

I rolled my eyes and threw the blanket at her.
She immediately wrapped herself into a ball.

We didn't have much to do today besides load up everything in the car. Though, we still haven't agreed on who's car.

Garnet's won't do, since what we're taking is quite a lot.

.....

Shit...

Why haven't I thought about it!?

I quickly began to change. I need to come up with something.
What are we supposed to do? Walk there?

Wait....

We need a big car.

Like a van.

Amethyst's dad!

"Where are you going...?"

Lapis finally stood up fron bed.

I looked at her, putting on a hat. "I need to go to Amethyst's house. Er...her dad's house. I haven't thought about it, but we don't have a ride that's big enough to fit all six of us and our things. Her dad has a van that can do the work."

Lapis stretched, "oh...do ya want me to go?"

I frowned, "I though you wanted to sleep..."

She just smiled, "yea but you interrupted that."
