Chapter 8: Nice To Meet You

"Sebastian" I hear a familiar voice say.

I turn and see him. His black/blue hair falling in front of his face slightly, his eyepatch covering his contract seal.

Ciel Phantomhive...

"Apologies young master" Sebastian says as he brings me back to my feet.

Ciel sighs and waves Sebastian off. Sebastian bows and disappears into the crowd. Ciel looks at me and opens his mouth to say something but is dragged off by a flash of pink.

"Lizzy" I mutter to myself with a frown.

I sigh and sit at a table. I really wanted to meet Ciel but Lizzy had to come in and ruin it. I feel sorry for Ciel. Having to marry someone he does not wish to marry.

I sigh and lean on my hand. Looking around I see all of the happy couples dancing. I sigh at the sight, hoping that one day that can be me and the love of my life.

I stand and make my way back out to the balcony. I take a deep breath. The cold air making me shiver. I stand around for a while and decide to head inside for a drink but I'm stopped when I bump into someone who was about walk onto the balcony.

"Sorry" I say looking down.

"That's alright" I hear the same voice from before say.

I look up and realise my face is only inches away from Ciel Phantomhive's face. I couldn't move. I was stuck there as if my feet were glued to the ground.

I collect myself and take a step back.

"Lord Phantomhive, what a pleasant surprise" I say with a small smile, trying not to fangirl.

"Please, call me Ciel Lady (L/n)" he says with that all too familiar fake smile.

"If I call you Ciel then you must call me (Y/n)" I say with a small laugh.

Ciel nods.

"Of course, (Y/n). Now, I believe that you are...the queens shadow, am I right?" He asks with a slight head tilt.

I simply nod. I look back out to the view. I walk to the rail and put my hands on it, feeling the coldness of the metal through my gloves. I hear foot steps and they stop next to me. I know it's Ciel so I don't bother looking at him. I feel a warmth on top of my hand. I look and see Ciel's hand on top of mine. I blush as red as Sebastian's eyes. Ciel finally notices and slowly takes his hand off mine.

"Sorry.." He says as he looks to the garden below us.

"T-that's ok" I say as I look down as well.

"It was nice meeting y-" "CIELLLLL" I hear a squeaky voice call out.

I turn and before I know it, that same flash of pink drags Ciel away. As Ciel was being dragged away I saw Ciel give me a look that said "please kill me".

I sigh.

"Nice to meet you too Ciel.."

I sigh and head inside and sit at a table.

"What is a pretty girl like you doing sitting all alone like this?" I hear a cheerful voice ask.
