Chapter 14: Homesick

The next morning I was woken by Sebastian, which was really awkward considering last nights events.

I got up and got dressed with the help of Alexander, and went to the dining hall for breakfast.

"Did you sleep alright?" Ciel asked before taking a sip of his tea.

"Yes, thank you for letting me stay.." I say with a small smile.

"Not a problem.." He says with a slight smile.

We finish our breakfast and then we just look at each other in silence. This reminds me of the time (F/n) and I did a presentation at school in assembly and (F/n) threw up because she was nervous and everyone just stared at us.

Now that I think about it, I really miss home. I miss my family and friends. Hell, I even miss the bullies.

It was all too much. I let the tears fall. I stood and ran out to the garden. I sat on a bench and cried.

"(Y/n)?" Ciel called out.

He walked up to me and kneeled down in front of me, taking my hands in his.

"(Y/n), what's wrong?" He says lifting my chin with his thumb and index finger.

"I just, miss (F/n)" I say.

It wasn't the main reason I was upset, but I really do miss her.

"It's alright, she would want you to be happy. She would want you to move on.." He says looking down.

I completely forgot about Ciel's past. I was so caught up in the romantic side of things, I forgot the sad side to things.

"You're right.." I say with a small sniffle.

He pulls me into a gentle hug, which surprises me. I wrap my arms around him and rest my head on his shoulder.

I feel so safe..
