Chapter 10: Loosing A Friend

I finally got home. I ran inside and into my office. Thankfully everything was in place and with further inspection, my desk was not touched at all. I sigh and sit down at my desk. I think for a moment and then get up and lock my door. I grab the key and unlock my desk and take the book out.

"Hmm, So, I met Ciel, Sebastian, Alois and Claude tonight. As well as other nobles. I don't feel like they should be in here though.." I say to myself.

I write down all four of the guys and look at the results.

"Well, he wants me, but he doesn't love me. If I get kidnapped I swear.." I say and finish with a sigh.

I put the book away and lock my desk and hide the key. I work for a little while and end up almost falling asleep until I hear a scream come from the outside.

I run outside and see (F/n) laying on the ground, face first with a pool of blood around her. I run up to her and grab her and hug her.

"No.. Please.. Wake up.." I whisper with tears falling.

"Mistress, I'm sorry" Alexander says kneeling down and putting a hand on my shoulder. "It seems that Lady (f/n) was leaning over the balcony rail and she fell forward. I am truly sorry.." He says, rubbing my back gently.

In that moment I remember a promise I made to (f/n)...

Flashback:

(F/n) and I are watching a movie about a girl and her friend. Long story short, the friend dies and the girl is sad for the rest of her life..

"(Y/n), if I die, promise you won't be like that. Promise me you will live out your life happily" (f/n) says with her derpy smile.

"Only if you do the same for me if I die first" I say hugging her.

I'm going to keep my promise.I will miss her greatly, but a promise is a promise..
