Chapter 18: Dinner At The Trancy Manor

The next day I sat at my desk and did my paper work, impatiently waiting for night to come.

After working for a few more hours, I sigh and sit back in my chair. I look at the clock.

"5:12" I say with an excited squeal.
I'm supposed to meet Alois at his manor at 6:30.

I return to my paperwork for awhile and then hear a knock at my door.

"Come in" I say, not talking my eyes off my work.

"Mistress, it's time to get ready for your dinner with Lord Trancy" Alexander says as he walks in.

I smile and stand and walk to my room. Alexander helps me dress and does my hair and makeup for me.

"Mistress, you look beautiful" he whispers, causing me to blush..again.

"Thank you Alexander.." I say with a smile.

"Ready to go mistress?" He says as he holds his hand out to me.

"Yes" I say taking his hand.

Alexander helps me out of the carriage and walks me to the front door

'Why do I have a bad feeling about this?' I think to myself.

Alexander knocks on the door. A few seconds later it is opened by Claude. I can't help but mentally fangirl a little bit at the sight of the sexy spider demon.

"Ah, Lady (Y/n), how are you on this lovely evening?" He says gesturing us to walk in.

"I'm good, how are you Claude?" I ask avoiding all eye contact with him.

"I am fine Milady, please, follow me to the dining hall" he says as he walks off.

Alexander and I follow him until we get to the hall.

"(Y/n)!" Alois says as he jumps out of his chair and pulls me into a hug. "You look stunning" he whispers.

"T-Thank you Alois" I say, hugging back.

We both are seated by our butlers and Claude brings out dinner and gives us a plate each. We chat away for a while and eat.

"Alexander please help Claude in the kitchen" I say with a smile.

"Yes Mistress" he says and then bows and walks off.

Claude's POV:

Lady (Y/n)'s butler walks in and begins helping with the dishes. Oh how I despise him. Being able to be at her side everyday.

I look over my shoulder at him. He looks back at me with a slight glare and then returns to the dishes.

"Thank you for your hel-" "I'm going to say this once and only once. Don't touch my Mistress.." He cuts me off with a glare and then returns to cleaning.

'Oh that's really adorable. A human threatening me. If I want her I'll have her' I think to myself.

I smirk and return to the dishes.

'She will be mine..' Both butlers thought .
