Chapter 24: A Kiss Under The Moonlight

Your POV:

It's been about 3 months since I threw that ball. I haven't been talking to any of the guys lately. I just needed to figure things out.

I have been notified that there is a festival coming to town. I'm not really into festivals. The last time I went to a festival, (F/n) threw up on me because she ate too much candy.

"Mistress are you alright?" Alexander says, setting my tea down on my desk.

"Hm? Yes I'm fine" I say and then take a sip of my tea.

"So will you be attending the festival?" Alexander says as he begins dusting the shelves.

"Yes. I will" I say with a sigh.

"Very well, I will have the carriage prepared" he says with a bow.

He walks out to prepare the carriage.

What will I do? There is no doubt that Ciel and Alois will be at the festival.
That means Claude and Sebastian will obviously be there too.

I work on my paper work for a few hours and then I hear a knock at my door.

"Come in" I say, not taking my eyes off my work.

Alexander walks in and bows.

"Mistress, it is time to prepare for the festival" he says with a smile.

"Alright" I say, standing from my seat and making my way to my room.

Alexander dresses me in a beautiful white long sleeve dress with a black waist belt. He puts my hair into a side braid and puts a white rose in my hair.

"Beautiful, as usual" Alexander says and then kisses my hand.

"Thank you Alexander" I say with a small blush.

~Timeskip to the festival~

As I step out of the carriage, I see couples and families laughing and smiling. I sigh and make my way through the festival with Alexander.

"Mistress, would you like to see the street performers?" He says pointing at the street performers.

"No" I say with a bored tone.

I look ahead and see Ciel and Sebastian walking my way. I grab Alexander and drag him away from the festival. We are now in a park. The park is empty and the only source of light is the moon.

"Mistress? What's wrong?" He says looking at my with a puzzled expression.

"Just, too crowded for my liking" I lie.

He nods and leans against a tree.

"Lovely night" he says with a relaxed sigh.

I nod and lay in the grass under a tree. I close my eyes and smile.

'This is the most relaxed I have been in ages' I think to myself with a smile.

It's silent for awhile and then I hear someone walk towards me. I open my eyes and see Alexander hovering over me, his face just a few centimetres from mine.

"Alexander?" I say with wide eyes.

"Mistress, I'm sorry. I can't hide my feelings anymore." He whispers.

"Ale-" he cuts me off by pressing his lips to mine.

I lay there for awhile, shocked. This can't happen, a butler and his mistress. It will ruin my noble reputation. Not to mention that I have four other guys that like me too.

I push him off and stand. I run back to the festival and look around. I see Alois watching street performers with Claude. I look the other way and see Ciel and Sebastian standing by the fountain.

'I need to make my mind up now or this will catch up with me and kick me right in the ass'
