The Tour

(This chapter is going to be short.)

Nino's Pov

Ms. Cheng lead me inside and showed me a bedroom, a small living room, and a small kitchen area. "Go ahead and relax, when Adrien awakes I'll show you the rest and where we'll be staying. Oh! And don't unpack yet." I nodded. What does she mean? Where else is there to go? Meh, I guess I'll wait and see. Is there any signal out here? I pulled out my phone and surprisingly there was. Thank goodness. I'd be bored if there weren't. I swipe through my contacts and call my wonderful girlfriend. I wonder what she's up to now... It rang for a few seconds before she picked up. "Hey, babe! What's up?" I greeted. "Uh...Nothing much." Is she okay? I think I heard voices in the background and why is she whispering. "Alya?" I paused for a bit before continuing, "Where are you?" She hesitated before answering, "At home watching a movie." Is that what the voices were? Why's she whispering though? "Hey, why are you whispering?" She sighed for some reason. "I'm babysitting my sisters, they just fell asleep. I don't want to wake them." Aww... "Alright, good luck. We'll talk later. Enjoy your movie!" She said goodbye and then hung up. She's always babysitting those twins. I laid down on the small sofa in the living room and mindlessly played a few games on my phone. After some time, Marinette came to get me. To be honest, I have no idea how long I was waiting but it was probably an hour or two since Marinette said Adrien was awake. Wait a minute... Where even was he? I guess I'll find out in a few minutes. Marinette told me to grab my bag before leading me to a pantry in the kitchen area and stepping inside. "Are you coming or not?" Are we grabbing a snack? I hesitated at first but followed her. She closed the door and moved a few boxes on a shelf and clicked something. I couldn't see what exactly it was but I presumed it was a button. The pantry started to move for about 2 minutes before stopping. Marinette opened the door once again and pulled me out. "C'mon Nino! Adrien's waiting!" She complained. I grabbed my bag and followed her. We walked down a white hallway and into a modern living room. Adrien and Ms.Cheng were sitting on the grey sofa waiting. Marinette flopped down onto the sofa next to her mother. "Maman! Do we need to do a tour?" She whined. I've never seen her act so childish... I think Adrien's rubbing off on her. "Put your bag down on the sofa, sweetie. You'll unpack it later." Ms.Cheng ignored the bluenette next to her. I nodded and did as she said. What's up with Marinette? She's so out of character, if anything she reminds me of Chloe when she doesn't get what she wants... I brushed it off and followed Ms.Cheng as she showed us around. Adrien was surprisingly very quiet, maybe he didn't fully wake up, while Marinette was dragging herself behind us while eating from a bag of Lays chips. They're were our individual rooms and each bedroom had its own bathroom. Ms.Cheng showed us a kitchen near the living room we were in earlier, a gym for what I'd guess is training, an empty digital room, a supply closet, a reading room, and a laundry room. When the tour was finished, I went to my room to start unpacking. I like my room, it had a small circular table that I can turn into a DJ setup whenever I want, plus the walls are soundproof in case I want to play during the night. It's blue and white and very modern, I like it. Though, I wish it had some books, I think I'll borrow some from the reading room when I'm ready.
