Chapter 10: Out in the open (Keith's pov)

Lunch just went by like it normally does, we talk, laugh, make fun of how scared Oli and Taylor are to admit their feelings towards one another.

Taylor goes to throw his and Oli's trays away but before he does we start instigating the two of them. "You guys are acting really weird. What's going on? You guys have never been this close." Becca starts

"We just want to have a stronger friendship! I just need to hang out with him more often!" Oli claims. You mean you want a stronger romantic relationship with him!

Taylor finally gets up to throw their stuff away. Taylor never wants to tell us anything and Oli has terrible at keeping most secrets. "Are you guys like dating or something?" I laugh, clearly saying it as a joke.

Oli takes a deep breath "I'm not gonna answer that. I promised I would keep secrets. But I would never keep mine and Tay's relationship a secret so if we were dating, you would be getting a yes right now!" I mean, he does have a point...I never kept my relationship a secret, especially when I was with...COREY?!

My ex boyfriend Corey walks in with Avery and Aliyah by his side. I cannot hear the rest of our table's discussion, all my focus is on my Ex and my girlfriend. I mutter before I go take another bite of my food, "fucking bitch..."

My sister slaps me on the back off my head but I am still concentrated on Aliyah and Corey and hear none of what any of them are saying. Aliyah catches wind that I am staring at them so she leans in and kisses my ex! My own girlfriend! Kissing my hot ass ex!

He obviously pushes her off of him which is exactly what I would have done if I were him. But the kiss still happened. I just saw my girlfriend cheating on me, right in front of my god damn eyes!

I gather my stuff as quickly as I can and storm out of the cafeteria. I have this feeling like someone is following me. I turn around and see Corey following me, I try to stop him by slamming the door in his face but he catches up to me pretty quickly.

He grabs my arm and turns me around to face him, "Keith? Why see you crying?" Why does he care so much? Last thing I remember from our relationship was him telling me he was using me to 'look different'

"Nothing, it's totally not because you just allowed MY GIRLFRIEND to KISS YOU!" I was so done with both of them. "You two assholes make such a perfect couple".

Corey stares at me in disbelief, he looks like someone just ripped out his heart and soul. I kind of feel bad for him because he didn't know she would do it so couldn't do anything to prevent it.

He steps closer to me and places a hand on my face, "I'm sorry, really I am. Not just for this, but for everything I've ever done to you. You don't have to forgive me, but I just want to be able to talk to you like we always have before. I just missed you so much..."

My heart melts at his apology but I have been fooled by him to many times, I have no idea what to fucking believe anymore... "just..." I cut him off, but I should let him say what he needs to say so I allow him to continue, "say what you need to say and be done with it..."

He continues, "I've missed having you by my side, I missed your attitude, your personality, fucking everything about you!"

He stops and backs away when he sees Becca walk up to us. She gives a harsh death glare towards Corey, "don't listen to what this asshole has to say, he's just trying to mess with your heart again". She hugs me, "Me and the rest of our group are the only comfort you will ever need"
